Bill Ramey is saying on Facebook that the suit is black and grey and the ears are pretty long.
I know he's an insufferable prick but Ash Thorp confirmed his Batmobile report and he was right about the suit looking homemade and the fact that we'd see if after BoP released... so, we'll see.

I think the assumption of no scowl is a little premature. Given the angle of the camera test, there could be more of a scowl from the front. The cowl just seems to have softer, simpler lines like Keaton's.

A static scowl does *at times* limit exactly what facial expressions the actor can make.

Not too much, mind you. But Pattinson will have the exact same range of facial acting abilities as his predecessors, if not more, and maybe Reeves specifciall6 wants a Batman who doesn’t just look pissed off 24/7.

Crossing my fingers. I think longer ears would really pull this look together.

It also has to do with lighting and how the camera catches the cowl will be able to give the cowl different expressions. A set scowl only allows for one emotion to be shown. But we've had 30 years of that and it was time for something new

The mask looked a bit creepy, Texas chainsaw vibe... it has that hint of unhinged/instability. It's almost taken away the human element, just this creepy blank gothic face.

When I first heard about joker, I thought why?
when I saw the trailer I was like, hmmmmmm, interesting.
when I saw the movie I was blown away and looking back, I totally got the wrong vibe. So I am hoping the same for this. so far I am, hmmm, ok keep talking.

They won't be all THAT long and definitely won't be the stupid 1939 ears. On the comic page they look fine, but on film would look so goofy the movie would be laughed at. Seriously, be a bit realistic as to the realities of making a film and playing to a wide audience.

I don't think they've settled on ears just yet. And watching the video in high resolution, what people are believing to be ears of the cowl is more likely some sort of artifacting from the video/blur. New Rockstars got mixed up with this artifacting issue as well, as they believed the eyes had white lenses in their breakdown video of the suit, which it obviously does not have as you can see Pattinson's eyes in the 4k video. I'm personally hoping they settle on short ears.

They literally started filming a couple of weeks ago. Whatever decision they made for the ears is settled, Reeves just didn't want to show them yet.

This camera test could've been from two months ago for all we know. They didn't show the ears intentionally, most likely due to the fact that whatever ears were on this suit at the time are not the ones they will use for the movie. It's not something that would really be news to save... an ear reveal for later. Or am I wrong? Would that get Batman fans off? Because I would certainly hope not.

It could just be a (rather clever) way of furthering discussion beyond the shock of the reveal. “What we can see of the suit looks (whatever). What about the ears though? Why can’t we see them? What do they look like?”

I favor the ears are definitely settled. Medium sized is good. I still think the Burton and even forever ears were the best. Much better than recent iterations
