Well it definitely looks more bulbous around the brow and back of the skull, so maybe?

That would sure make it work with the armored suit than just pure leather cowl with a whole different style suit like some people assume and say it doesn't work together

That's what I'm saying, I'm happy people have their own opinions. I just don't see the appeal.

I fell in love with the long ears when mezco toys did that batman figure based on an updated 39 look.

I like the even more Batman/ demonic look that it give him.

I love Batman in all it's incarnations ( less when it's campy) all it's looks. I love some some more than others, and execution is the key. And it will be the case, here again IF Reeves has chosen that look. + i'm curious to have a film maker tackle it, at last. Batman needed a new incarnation very different from what came before, (Nolan trilogy is it's own beast and did history, Affleck Batman divided people ) he needs fresh blood ( no pun intented )And Reeves is a great visual film Maker who likes to experiment with shape, who loves strong visual symbolism.

Seeing a bit of chatter here and there on Twitter from folks who want to see the purple gloves. I think it'd be an interesting change of pace and it's something we haven't seen with Batman on film yet. Maybe he uses them at a crime scene?

I wouldn't mind the smaller hand gloves but I 100% would not want them to be purple. Black to match the cape, cowl, and boots.

Amazing figure and modern update. Black gloves instead of odd purple. No undies. Kane ears (looks menacing too) ... not a fan of the lenses but not a deal breaker. And this movie version has real eyes and armor plating overlays? Perfect.

The Reddit guy might be legit. According to him Catwoman is dressed all in black, but it’s not really skin tight. It’s more like biker leather. A jacket, and a “cat helmet” as he puts it. Leather boots.

I can dig this. I feel like it'll be tactical but still very much catwoman, which is the most important thing.

The main three (possibly four) things that are "similar" to the West cowl are the more exposed jawline (although the angle and amount is definitely different in the Pattinson cowl, so this is pretty debatable), the stitching, exposed nose and maybe the ears depending on what they look like. Other than that, there's not many similarities

The emotionless cowl is also a similarity.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t be. If Matt Reeves made his suit armor, I’m sure he world protect his head as well.

People just literally want to see BTAS or the comic page translated into reality ... verbatim.

The closest we’ve seen that is BvS. Not bad. Good. Not great. If being honest, kind of homogeneous and bland.

Woah, Woah. BTAS and BvS have nothing in common when it comes to the character, the suit, or their visual interpretation. BTAS was always character first and was completely about expressiveness, atmosphere, and agility/dynamism in movement. That was the whole point of Timm's simple, stylisized designs. They were the polar opposite of what comic artists of the day were doing with lots of detail and anatomy. Timm and co. recognized that what worked on the comic page did not necessarily work in animation, so they instead applied the old school DIsney technique of lines vs curves to create something unique and stylized. BvS with its heavily padded basketball-textured Batsuit, robo-Batvoice, and perma-scowl cowl, and fanatical devotion to the Frank Miller comic book designs are none of that.

the BVS suit is so damn gross to look at. for me personally, anyway. it looks like a bad cosplay with obviously fake muscles.
