The BATSUIT Thread

No, you are dumb and you laugh at your own ignorance.
Batman acknowledged in that very scene that Superman had parents ("I bet your parenths taught you..."). He knew he had a mother.
Bruce hearing the name 'Martha' at that moment triggered his PTSD, which is a very real thing that happens at people in the real world in their daily lives long after a very traumatic incident. Look it up and learn a thing or otherwise stay ignorant.

No, him being a lifter made sure that his superheroes were looking the way they were supposed to, after casting them perfectly.
Unlike Matt Reeves not being one and having his Batman being embarassingly skinny and weak looking.
We don't know what his Batman final build is yet.He doesn't really have to bulk up too much. Like I said before I think Charlie Cox's built in DD season 3 was great for Robert's Batman! Too much muscles slow down the martial artist. I think Matt wanted his Batman to be more Ninja like,so we will see when the film comes out. If you don't like the more leaner Batman that's cool,if he isn't bulky in this movie. He might bulk up a little over time like Jackman :yay:

'Michael Bay directing Macbeth' is my new favourite description of Zack Snyder movies.Don't Snyder want to make a artsy film based off a book?! Damn I wonder how that would turn out lol

You're really, really not gonna win yourself any friends here by calling posters dumb and telling them their posts are unreadable, that's just needlessly hostile.
Thank you for that man!

Now I’ve seen him in quite a few things. It’s not down to direction...

From what I saw of The Witcher, he’s just not that good of an actor. That was a passion project for him and he wasn’t that good.
Stiff is the best word for him. Very wooden actor, bad at emoting. He should play a robot.

looks JUST like Superman though. Dead on. Too bad he’s not a better actor. I think if Cavill was a more charismatic Superman then maybe those movies would’ve fared better.
So glad I'm not the only one that notice that! I like Henry! He is a really cool guy and fun/charming in the interviews. Too bad it doesn't transfer into the movies he is in. I seen great actor make a bad movie worth watching just by their acting skills alone. I haven't giving up on him,he just need that director to pull something from him or he can keep being Jai Courtney lol

BvS is better than TDKR
Dang I like both movies! They both have their flaws, but one movie have with the one is missing. Can we all agree that they are better then Batman & Robin and waaaay damn better then the fan film The Death Of Batman from 2003(look it up and you will see why) lol:funny:

If you think Cavill is a wooden actor, watch Man From Uncle.
Oh crap I forgot about that film! I think him and Armie made a great team(too bad Snyder didn't cast Armie as Batman)! Sadly I think BVS came out after that and he was labeled as wooden actor again. I think he has it he just need a better director and as an Witcher fan I'm mixed on his performance. If he not in DC anymore and just so happen to work with Marvel. I would love to see a director like James Gunn,The Russo's,Taika Waititi or Ryan Coogler bring something out of him!

To further confirm that statement?
To be fair he had more personality in it then when he worked with Snyder lol(I give MOS a pass because that was a Superman trying to find out who he is).I have a question is Gal an good actress? Every movie I seen her in she was good to meh at best.I think Patty brought more of her range out, maybe Henry needs from a director!.. Oh crap he worked with Guy Ritchie didn't he? Oh well I haven't lost faith in him yet! Even though sadly Hollywood doesn't have the patients we have.

Begone, vulgar heretic. Man from UNCLE is an underrated delight and I won't have its good name sullied in this house.
Momoa is fine for small roles, he’s not strong enough to carry a franchise on his back. Zack seems to cast based on appearance instead of skill set. Most of his actors in superhero roles can’t act their way out of a paper bag. But hey, you can rub oil on their muscles! Reeves looks for good actors who can play that kind of behaviour that those characters need. Then you shape them physically to fit that character if need be, but skill set is the first priority when working on a film. Snyder is so off in the head that he’ll never understand that. All he cares about is the visual. It’s jusg obnoxious and hollow.
See, Momoa obviously isn't an actor of Pattinson's caliber or anything like that but he's the right type of old school likable action star to headline a profoundly goofy film series like Aquaman.

He smiled and flirted while looking handsome. That's literally the only thing he did in that movie that was even remotely interesting. To me at least it didn't come across as being super charming or anything beyond how he looked.

Hammer would look good as Superman but would be a terrible Clark Kent.
Hammer is more suited to Luthor or a villain role. He isn't made for the conventional leading man roles, he's perfectly fine at them but there's a weirdness and intensity to his best roles that doesn't come out when he's a heroic lead.

I can't disagree with you but he did it so well though! I will say I hope he will find that director that can bring that talent out. I like Henry though but I can see why Daniel Craig won the role from him as Bond. Hopefully we'll see one day and we might get something from him in season 2 of The Witcher.

I was going to say he would be my pick for Aquaman for JL reboot if they decided to reboot it. Now I'm thinking him as Lex also and kinda liking it!

Maybe Metallo.

I’m glad Pattinson is Batman, but I think Hammer really could’ve been a good Batman. It’s a shame JL: Mortal fell through

Hammer is just as bad as Cavill. He should have been Snyder’s Hal Jordan. Get all the bad actors in one space.

Hey hey Hammer was the bomb in Free Fire! That movie is underrated as heckle...In my opinion though lol

lmao this is hilarious because it's true and people are kinda upset. Cavill nor Hammer are really good or distinct across films. Just the same ol same ol.

I re-watched The Dark Knight last night and I don't think the "bobble head" is anywhere near as bad as people made out. The original cowl at the beginning is terrible though. Looks like a cheap BB knock off.

Oh yeah I recall the BB cowl looking really weird on Bale at the beginning of TDK, particularly in the scene with Gordon in the bank. I always thougth It was because Bale was considerably leaner than he was in BB so maybe the cowl of that suit did not fit him as well anymore.

If Pattinson wasn't cast then actors who could have been Batman

Keanu Reeves as Batman (older in the Batfleck range)

Nick Jonas

Richard Madden if he didn't end up in the MCU with the Eternals

Josh Brolin (older Batfleck range)

Jake Gyllenhaal (older but could pass for younger)

Armie Hammer (young but could possibly pass for older)

Ryan Gosling

Nicholas Hoult

Jon Hamm (older Batfleck range)

Fassbender (older Batfleck range)

When talks about this film began and there were mixed news reports on Afflecks status; I read over fan casting as well as later finding out a couple/few of these were actually considered at one point or another. I would have been supportive of Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Gosling for this film going the slightly younger route. Josh Brolin and Jon Hamm I would have supported as well if they were continuing the Batfleck story with a recast.
With that said, While I was surprised by Robert Pattinsons casting, I was excited. Luckily for me I had seen some of his more recent work and didn't just look at him from the Twilight perspective. I think he is a great actor and I'm really looking forward to his portrayal and see what he does with this. He definitely looks amazing in what little we've seen of him.
