Oh yes, I like his work. I was only kidding about the aw part.:oldrazz:

Fire Pro Rasslin? Or another Fire pro? If so yes, I've played it before. It's like classic Gameboy:oldrazz:
Fire Pro rasslin indeed. Don't know if you knew, but Fire Pro Returns (from japan in 05) has been released for PS2. It is the latest, and definitely the greatest Fire Pro of all time. In fact, I bought a PS2 on sunday just to get this game. It's that super awesome. 500 CAW slots. Ain't that mind-blowing?

327 wrestlers in the game right off the bat, although most of them are Japanese and quite a few are actually MMA fighters.

Fire Pro Wrestling Returns is the most fun you'll have with a wrestling game. Assuming you actually like wrestling.

I also got Smackdown vs Raw 08. It's no Fire Pro. It's kinda fun, but the controls are really screwy and the matches are too easy. No psychology or anything. You just kinda hit moves for a little while then pin.

But Fire Pro tis a thing of beauty.

Is this from the prologue?

Chuckles: I'm betting the Joker told you to kill me soon as we loaded the cash.
The Joker: No, no, no, no, I kill the bus driver.
Chuckles: Bus driver? What bus driver?
[a school bus drives through the wall and kills him]

http://caws.ws/firepro/show.php?cat=2&id=19 sweet FPR video
http://caws.ws/firepro/show.php?cat=2&id=150 wwf in 1988 FPR style
http://caws.ws/firepro/show.php?cat=2&id=151 wcw 1998 roster. fpr style

and that last one is a bunch of marvel characters. but it also has ronald mcdonald, a couple tekken guys and a couple street fighter guys.

gives you a good idea of the level of customization in the CAW mode. you can also make custom rings and logos as you can see. And you can even make your own referees ^___^

Haha, I've played an older one on the PS2 way back but i'm mostly familiar with the gameboy ones which were very fun. 500 CAW slots seems like quite a bit compared to like 30 on SVR08 lol. And btw, I have played SvR08 but I did not purchase. I use to buy all of 'em but you know, after a while, it feels like the exact same game every year except with an updated roster. GM mode is fun, so is 24/7 season but it gets boring and repetitive.

Oh and as much of a surprise it is, I do watch wrestling. It's the only thing remotely close to a sport that I watch :oldrazz:

edit: look at the time...gotta get ready for college in the mornin' boo :(

There was a bbc movie of Sweeney Todd not this christmas but the last with Ray Winston, it was pretty good, more realistic than stylized whimsical stuff like Burtons.

BOOOOOOOOOO! Whimsical stylization FTW!

I just saw another version on tv a couple of days ago, it had Ben Kingsley as Sweeny Todd. I didn't really like. The only one that compares to Burton's adaptation is Sondheim's original work :oldrazz:

Sucks about having to get ready for school.

But yeah, i never played a SvR game before. I never had a Sony system. But this game was meh. Again, I'm not used to those kind of insane controls. And yes, the story mode is pretty decent but does get boring. But it's still kinda cool. It wasn't worth 50 bucks. But then again, few games are.

But Fire Pro is only 15. Some places 20. And it's worth every penny. My friend has it, and my copy shall arrive today. I have the GBA versions and they blow my mind. I also have a japanese version on the dreamcast. It's awesome but it's in japanese. Having the game in english is a big plus obviously  =D

I saw the bootleg, wasn't very good quality and I had no idea what was going on.

Lol.

Yeah the only reason I could follow the bootleg was cuz I drove an hour to see the actual thing in an IMAX theater. Best damn drive of my life!

So I read this morning, on google, that one can find the entire plot, and - or information about TDK.

Is this what everyone was on about last night?
