This term gets thrown around way too much. But, I think I have the cream of the crop. If I missed your favorite, tell me what it is.:hyper:

Out of those, I'd say "The Warriors", even though I love quite a few movies from that list.

Erf, this poll should not have been made. I could list a million "Cult Movies" that are just as good as those, and the term is subjective because there are tens of thousands of obscure, little known movies that are freaking masterpieces, and are known as "Cult Movies".

Even just for what the mainstream, non movie-snobs call "Cult Movies", where're:

Freaks
Harold and Maude
Pink Flamingos
Repo Man
Plan 9 From Outer Space
Brazil
Eraserhead
Blue Velvet
Faster, *****-Cat! Kill! Kill!
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure
Un Chien Andalou
The Toxic Avenger
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

BAD poll.:cmad:
BAD poll.:cmad:

But, in the immortal words of the God of bad poll-making, "OUT OF THOSE ONES"......Spinal Tap.

Yeah, this is a pretty slim poll. Not to knock these movies, but there are many, many more cult movies. Cannibal The Musical, for example.

I spent so much time making a better list that I was logged out and lost the list. But it had many of the ones that Whilly said.

Add these to the list

A Clockwork Orange
Time Bandits
Memento
Equilibrium
Red Rock West
City of Lost Children
Delicatessen
Old Boy
Ichi the Killer
The Goonies
Labyrinth
Dark Crystal

and thats just a few

My favorite would have to be "They Live."

That street fight scene makes everything else obsolete. Plus, Rowdy Roddy Piper....who could ask for more?

I voted the Evil Dead, i wish i could vote the Warriors to, maybe if there were a Warriors trilogy...

Rocky Horror. It's so famn fun. My school did it as a play one year. I love it. And getting to see a Midnight Showing on Halloween only confirmed for me how great it truly is.

Everyone I know likes it. Oh well don't really care.

where the **** is Mutha****in Snakes on a Mutha****in Plane Mutha****a?!?! this mutha****in thread starter is a mutha****a...mutha****a!

um dude, but the best cult film ever was

Fight Club

and it is a cult movie

I'm surprised one of Carpenter's movies isn't on this list... something like:

The Thing
Escape From New York
and the amazing Big Trouble In New York

Indeed.

One of my favorite films of all time, and probably one of the best, if not THE BEST cult film.

It just is so good, and I am GOING to own that Director's Cut someday. I would've bought it last week if I had the money...:csad:

CAH

There... there are too many to pick from! AAAAAAGHGHGGGGG!

I voted for Monty Python out of those. The Holy Grail isn't actually my favorite of their movies.. but c'est la vie.

I have to say I never thought of Office Space as a cult movie, but maybe it is. Just never occurred to me.

I'd say "Big Trouble in Little China" was AMAZING.
I'd say "Escape From New York" was pretty cool.
I missed "Big Trouble in New York".

Well ther is quite a few missing if you ask me. For i assumed cult movies were movies that got a fallowing that really shouldn't have. I suppose also that everyone had there favorite cult classic. So that kind of poll assumption could be difficult. I chose Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
My favorite cult classic's are these 4. Clash Of The Titans, and Red Sonya, Army Of Darkness and Beastmaster.

Big trouble in little China, Moster Squad and Rad are my favs.

Also Night of the Creeps and Attack of the Killer Klowns are great too.
