Choose your favorite :)

Mine are Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Ed Wood, POTC, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and What's Eating Gilbert Grape.

charlie and the chocolate factory sucked so many asses.

that is the one performance i could not stand depp in.

All of them. I have yet to see Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.

but, it's hard to pick a favorite from the rest of that list (most of it, anyway)

i went with fear and loathing, but it was a toss up between that, ed wood, once upon a time in mexico (that character deserves his own spinoff movie) and pirates. all good choices.

Well, I'd not say so.

Depp was excellent as Willy Wonka, while the vissual style of movie was even greater than I thought.

The only problem of movie was that it was too easy to guess what will happen.

The script wasn't bad. And direction was also good.

So I thought it was good story tale for kids, I gave it 7 out of 10.

Bu I likes more Depp from Sleepy Hollow (Ricci was really HOT) and POTC (Sparrow will soon become one of the most popular characters I guess).

Also, my favorite movie is Edward Scissorhands, it was great movie!

But Ed Wood was very strange role for Depp, so I also liked it.

Ed Wood or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

You forgot to add Deadman. You ********, that was one of his best movies.

Actually there's a few you've missed.

Edward Scissorhands, Finding Neverland, Ed Wood, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and Pirates.

WTF??? I cant make the poll of all his movies!

Besides, there is "Another", and you choose this.

Edward Sissorhands was a bit chessy. The thread is about the best Depp Film, not performance. Best Depp film was Finding Neverland which was had an incredibly moving ending..yup, I cried at the end.

I'd not say so about ES. It was very beautiful and amazing movie, besides, it also was one of the best Depp's roles.

i think Edward Scissorhands is still Depp's finest performance. remember he didnt have much lines there and most of his emotions he has to convey silently or via body language. and with a very uncomfortable costume that's hard. so i still give him the most props for that

oh and he may have been the lead for What's Eating Gilbert Grape, but anyone who'se seen that film knows that that movie was Leonardo DiCaprio's vehicle.

I'd say POTC.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
It's amazing how great and entertaining a movie that practically goes about nothing can be. Depp is very good in it, but Benicio Del Toro steals the show (IT WAS DUKE! IT WAS DUKE!) and ofcourse Terry Gilliam's direction is simply brilliant.

I haven't seen al of this so I feel kind of bad, any way I choose From Hell, I'm morbid and was always into that whole seiral killer thing.

Fear and loathing :) Such great acting

"Please!! what about the ****ing golf shoes...?!"
