Looking through my new "The Art of Thor" book, I was surprised to see a badass poster that was never used. Why it wasn't I have no idea, but it's clearly better than any that was used to promote the movie. Although I did like the French and the original poster OK.

For those that have the book, you probably already know which one I'm referring to. It's the one on page 233 that has the "Two Worlds, One Hero" slogan.

Very sharp.

Btw...

Why they used the red posters I'll never know.

Then you shouldn't have made this thread. :o

It's basically like, "Hey, remember that thing I saw in that book that one time? Wasn't that awesome?"

That's frowned upon dude.

Get a scanner. :o

Or you could get the book...

you want everyone who views this thread to have bought the book?

:down

No, just the smartasses that would rather I not share the info without a scanner.

I spent a significant amount of time searching for it on the net to post, but to no avail. Certainly wasn't from a lack of trying, or getting a kick by keeping people in suspense.

Can you describe what it looks like?

Sure. It shows Thor from about the waist up, holding Mjolnir up to the sky (with lightning) in his right had while looking up at it. On the right side is Asgard, and on the left is the sun setting. At the top right it has the words "Two Worlds. One Hero.

It is very cool.

It does sound great, I have to say I was disappointed with some of the posters they did release especially the red one with just his face which is what my theater got. I really have to try and get these "art of" books of Thor and Captain America from some of the stuff people have been posting they seem to have alot of cool things in them.

I agree. The red poster I didn't get at all. Don't know why they thought that was a good idea.

I highly recommend the book.

Hey, you're the one that created a thread about a poster with no picture.

We saw the title thinking, cool, Thor picture I maybe haven't seen. I come on in and nothing. :argh:

You gave my eyes blue balls good sir. I demand restitution! :o

Now we can see what all the fuss is about...
