A woman was driving alone in her car when she spun off the road at high speed. The car smashed through a fence and bounced down a steep ravine before plunging into a fast flowing river. As the car slowly settled in the river, she realised her arms were broken and she could not release her seat belt to get out of the car. She was trapped as the car sank to the bottom of the river, yet she did not panic and was rescued, alive, 30 minutes later.

How did the woman survive?

A man walks into a bar in America and asks the barman for a glass of water. The barman looks at him for a moment, reaches slowly beneath the counter and pulls out a gun.

He points the gun at the man who gulps, waits for a moment, and then says 'Thank you'. The man then walks out of the bar.

Why?

The man had hickups so he wanted water to fix it. The barman pulled out a gun that scared the man and the man's hickups were gone so he said thanks.
