-Simmons is also revealed to be HYDRA in the last two episodes of the season. This would explain a stronger reason for her to be so obsessed with finding out the story behind GH-325.

*(Fitz would be another interesting choice, in place of Simmons on my list. Weapons development is big with HYDRA. If he was HYDRA, he would have gotten very upset over the encrypted line May had. He could have convinced Simmons it would be smart to work on the GH-325, set up the encrypted line to keep in touch so he could report to his HYDRA officers.)

If Fitz were Hydra he'd have joined up with Garrett, not nearly gotten his kneecaps blown out with tears in his eyes.

Same with Simmons. She had her chance to join up with her fellows and didn't take it.

I know Ward threw everyone for a loop but he was the only member other than Skye (No she's not Hydra either) who wasn't put in a position to join his fellows during the raid. He's also the only one who had a replacement for his role on the bus appear.

Again it will get REALLY OLD if they keep pushing the "EVERYONE is Hydra now!" thing.

That doesn't mean they might not survive the season mind you. But they aren't Hydra.

I say Coulson's season 2 team will be:

MAY (good and in relationship with Phil)
SKYE (good and all super hero-ed up)
FITZ (good)
SIMMONS (good)
WARD (bad???) - I think he'll be back staying and written as a continuing unknown inside threat (I really hope I'm wrong, but that's my gut feeling before watching Ep18).



I want him to be a good guy and be a regular, but I think TRIPLETT might not survive season 1, Ward might off him (again, hope I'm wrong).


I think HILL be will be seen a lot more as a guest star, but not regular cast. If she joins as regular that would be great!

I really want the next season to be them recruiting supers even if to counter Hydra's efforts along the same lines because you can see at the end of the Cap sequel thats where they're heading!

Heh just remembered the pilot episode and this would be so ironic if proved true (and reminiscient of how the Red Skull behaved in the Avengers Assemble cartoons series even if idiotically wrong... but thats because they used Modok instead of Zola...)

Here's my theory. It turns out that actually all of them are HYDRA. Turns out Hydra aren't great at communicating between different divisions, so the people that set up Ward (Centipede) didn't know that FitzSimmons were placed there by someone else. Same for May, Skye, and Coulson. Then once they realize they're all HYDRA, they have a good long laugh, and it becomes Agents of HYDRA.
