I know. He really pulls off every aspect of the character, especially how he holds back his emotions. He seemed like a tamed animal in this scene, wanting to break out, but being held by this barrier.

I think Bale was overlooked in TDK, at the end when he explains what Batman needs to be, the whole movie really comes together and it's clear that it is a Batman movie. This is of course because of the great writing, but also very much due to Bale's acting. It's so deep and layered, I get goosebumps every time I watch the ending.

I agree. I have hope though, that if handled along the lines of Batman from TDKR for BB3, then Bale will get massively recognized.

That's how I kinda felt, but I was optimistic when Bale signed up. He usually never picks bad movies, and with Nolan in the mix, this could be some deep emotion ****. t: But, yeah, Bale will rick the **** come 09.

I was looking at video interviews with Christian Bale from the Dark Knight and it seems like his demeanor has changed drastically since Begins.

During 2005 he was a lot more animate and friendlier like in this interview.

And then now in 08 he seems a lot colder and his sentences seem broken because of the pauses and "umms."

I think his change in demeanor can be attributed to 1) he was in the middle of shooting Terminator and was under a lot of stress 2) he was constantly being asked how he felt about his friend's death and was under a lot of stress. Plus, he was probably going through some personal family drama.
