Just saw this today. There is no scene at the end of the credits. What a disappointment. :(

But overall I enjoyed this movie.

After thinking more about it, it's really similar to Hamlet. King is murdered by his bother, and drives his nephew into exile..but then the nephew returns to reclaim the throne.

As someone who somewhat enjoyed the first one would I enjoy this one too? I thought there were some amazing parts in the first one, and I thought there were some horrible parts. I hated Edmund in the first one. Is he more tolerable this time? I thought the end battle was lackluster, but had some good parts. I also thought it was a little too childish and not dark enough. Even with these complaints however I did enjoy teh movie to a degree. Having said all this does it seem like I will enjoy this film?

Whats so good about this movie is that the main characters get to do a lot more during the action sequences throughout than just stand there. Thats what I didn't like about the battle in the first movie. Plus this movie was dark.

and like I said earlier, I liked this movie more than the first but ...damn. I like the first one still.

My friend and I wondered about the Faun Lucy meets in TLWW and whatever happened to him?

Did he die just like the rest?

Just came back from Prince Caspian. Definitely an amazing and awesome movie. A+ all the way.

I'm glad they paced it the way they did, if they would have followed the book closely it could have been confusing. The action and special effects were top notch and the feel of the film was definitely epic. It deserves way more than what it got yesterday. Here's hoping to a huge increase on Saturday and Sunday.

Well it's hundreds of years later so yes every Narnian in the first movie is dead.

However, in the cave, there is a drawing of the faun standing near the lightpole and playing a flute.

So whats everyone's fave part? I love the beginning. It felt so epic.

I think that my favorit part was the Peter Vs The king fight, straight out of the book and truly exactly how I thought it would be.

i loved the mouse....

Mouse: You people have absolutley no imaginaition! :cmad: *kills warrior*

the mouse was a COMPLETE rip-off of puss 'n boots... lol

One of the strongest attributes to the iflm is how well it handle the multitude of characters and kept them from becoming two dimentional stock characters. For example, Nikabrik had very few scenes in comparison yet the scenes they gave him really gave depth to his character as well as added a layer to the plight of the narnians and how they've joined together for their survival. The contrast between Nikabrik and Trumpkin is fantastic as well.

This is the type of kids movie I would of loved as a kid because it does not pander at all. The war is horrible and they don't try to brush over that fact. Good guys sometimes are sway to do bad things. Then other itmes they do incredibly noble things. It truely was a great film and I hope it manages to find some legs. It was definately an improvement over the first.

Yeah,...I remember Lucy actually mentioning him among all their other friends that they've lost over the time.

In the novels, Mr. Tumnus appears in The Horse and His Boy and briefly in The Last Battle, with the former taking place during the reign of the Pevensies in Narnia, which begins and ends in the last chapter of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. So, you're probably right about him being dead in Prince Caspian, as it's set approximitely 1,300 years after The Horse and His Boy/The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe... don't quote me on this, though.

The books don't follow sequentially, e.g. The Magician's Nephew (publication order: 6/7) is a prequel to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

I saw this last night. I liked it quite a bit. Compared to the first one, though, I'm not sure which one I liked better.

Yeah The books area fun read if you ever get the time but I think it was one of those "wow I have to explain all this!" moments for Lewis. I have a big huge book that has them all in Chronological order and it is very fun, to say the least.

As far as the "darker" story, it was darker but I mean thats not saying much because it is Narnia after all. It was a bit more violent than the last one. I was kind of upset that Aslan had such little screen time and that the kids got called to Narnia so quickly. Also, what was up with that crappy song at the end? I did like the story and battles. The Sword fight between Peter and Miraz was pretty damn cool. Over all I liked it and think its a solid addition to the Narnia series. Looking forward to the Voyage of the Dawn Treader
