I just bought a POS 1981 firebird and I freakin love it. Im going to use it to fix up my 1980 trans am that I love even more. This thread is to appreaciate awsome works of car making that are classic cars.

Does everyone drive a freakin Honda now? Wheres the love for the classics?

I've been keeping my eye out for a really cherry '67-'69 Camaro SS, but haven't found one worth mucking with, yet.

69 Cameros are so sweet. Finding a cherry one will run you a pretty penny. Just look at the muscle car greatness. Imagine how many chicks you could shag in the back of that baby. Id be a baby making monster for sure.

Yeah, I think my wife would get pissed if I was shagging any chicks besides her in the back of that. LOL! :D But, for my money, those 67-69 Camaro SS's are just the pinnacle of the muscle car era. I'd like to find one that needs a little restoration work that I could put a little bit of love into to bring it back to life. Not a HUGE project, mind you, but a little bit wouldn't be bad.

This is almost what mine looks like right now but with a primed up hood and its got more paint on it. The engine runs solid though and only has 21k miles on the original engine.

I'll be checking out some classic beauties at Hot August Nights in Reno this weekend.

Let's see pics of the '80 Trans-Am!

Im using the firebird to fix the trans am. The trans am's body is just mint for being as old as it is. The firebirds is not. But the firebirds interior things like dashboard and center console are in great shape so im going to switch em out. Also my backwindow for the trans was busted so im swapping that also. I might sell the engine of the firebird as it is in kick ass condition or I might do the parts swapping like I mentioned fix the window up and use that in the winter and the good one in the summer. I love them like my children.

That looks like a mix of corvette and Lamboghini.

This is a good thread is deserves more.
