The Hype's Official Car Club

What year is that, BRUTHOLE? My pops had a '65 Stingray when he was younger. Bright, candy-apple red with the white panels on the sides. He loved that car. Had to sell it because he needed a family car when I came along. He's pretty certain it showed up at the car museum at Harrah's in Reno, NV. He went in there and they had one that still had some of the little custom things he'd done to his. Such a sweet car.

That's a 69' 427... read the plate. :o

The Stingray is a beauty of design and performance, I think it's safe to say that even if you have a little taste, (even F-word Lovers) LOVE the Stingray.

Screw that, I'd want a 70/71 with a 454. Same body style, more ponies. My uncle had one (a '70) back in the day... I'll never forget the sound of that thing just sitting in his driveway idling.

Still a Stingray, still a beautiful thing.

You drive an F-word...

I dream about the rest of you...
I'll give you the F-word!

You talk about me like I'm some piece of machinery.

Maybe she likes to sniff the glue in the summertime?

jag
No, not glue. I gave up on that about 10 years ago. Now I'm into sniffing gasoline.

This is what they were trying to do at it's inception, but then they got all kinds of stupid added weight, gutted it, and slapped an absolutely ridiculous price tag on it.
It seems like they're trying to copy one of the classic ferraris with that design.

This car gives me chills...

OMG! The Stingray!! Or as I call it "Bella's Batmobile". I LOVE that car. I've seen this car being driven around the town I live in and more than once I almost got into an accident coz I was distracted. The dude who was driving it was almost as hot as the car. Almost. :oldrazz:

I could talk about you like a piece of meat if you prefer. :woot:

Except that Ferrari came up with this body design about 20 years after the 66' GT40.

Uhh... what kind of meat? :o :p

66' GT40... right. Forgot about that. The GT pic that I posted look very similar to the 66' GT40. Even if I can afford it, I won't buy that car. I'm more into Shelby circa 1965-1970. The new one isn't that bad looking either.

That means it wasn't you! :oldrazz:

Have you noticed that mostly it's old men who drives fancy cars? I was admiring a brand new Corvette recently at a parking lot of a department store and guess who emerger from the car. An old man about 60 years old or maybe older. Maybe he bought it from his retirement paycheck. :p

Something LEAN of course.

Older guys know what cars used to be and how to appreciate them. Modern youths see more value in bells and whistles than in the actual performance of the vehicle. There a re a select few youths that focus on performance but the vast majority of them prefer the newer Asian models and still tend to focus a great deal of attention to adding to the aesthetics and sound system of the vehicle.

I better be!

Post some pics of the late 1960s model of the Camaro SS. Love those cars too!

I don't mind the newer Asian models... they're not bad at all but still... my heart belongs to classic American muscle cars. I know someone who's wife bought him a 1964/65 Ford Mustang for his birthday. In black with red leather seats. My favorite color combo. I'm jealous.

Here's a '69. I'm sure I get bonus points for it being your favorite color combo too.

More importantly, I'm looking for one of those USA-1 plates for the Chevelle. I think that's even the one I want, with the black lettering.

Thanks. :) A few more Hemi Cudas, a '72 Javelin AMX, and a pretty badass '71 Road Runner... and I'm out. ;)
