The Classic Rock Appreciation Thread

Thanks for all the suggestions of artists to put up on the list, I just edited it.

And not to knock your taste or anything, but I rather like some of the 80's Kiss stuff. Personally, I prefer Eric Carr to Peter Criss. And Bruce Kulick wasn't a *terrible* guitarist. He may not have been Ace, but I rather liked his sound.

It's all cool with me, it's just that I don't enjoy the 80's Hair Metal sound which Kiss was emulating in the 80's.

I respect your opinion, to each to his own.

Hmmm, true 'dat Motown. I am not TOO familiar with The Sonics' work, and I wasn't aware of when they came about. Hat's off to you

the first two sonics albums ("here are the sonics" and "boom") should be mandatory in the collection of anyone who claims to enjoy any form of rock and roll. after those first two albums, line up changes in the band started happening and it all went down hill. but, god damn, those two albums is some of the best music ever to shake my ears. and im not trying to take away from your statement about the monks. those dudes were crazy and way ahead of their time, its super cool you brought them up. complicated is such a fun song.

anyways, some sonics:

Cinderella

Psycho

The Witch

Have Love, Will Travel

Strychnine

Jenny Jenny

Dirty Robber

Boss Hoss
