The Cloverfield Paradox

Welp, time to avoid this site (and some portions of the Internet) for 24 hours until I see it.

Yessss, another Bear McCreary score. He's perfect for these movies, imo.

I’m probably gonna watch it tonight after I watch This Is Us.

I am so watching this tomorrow.

I would watch it, but I have work in the morning.

Wait, it's up?! I thought April? Well... Cool, I guess. Will check it out tonight.

This is some trippy ****.

[blackout]What are you talking about, arm?![/blackout] :funny:

Ha, well that was fun. 10 Cloverfield Lane remains the best of the lot though, imo.

It was fun, but I’ll always be partial to the first one.

So, does it stand on its own or do I need to watch the first one?

Have not seen either of the other Cloverfields. Can someone let me know after they view this whether I need to see the others first?
Nah. There are certainly connections (and the ending is one giant reference/connection), but like the others this is essentially a standalone.

Ok, i'll look at it tonight.

I just love the higher budget b-movie vibes of this series.

That was really good! I felt like it was what Life was trying to do last year.

I guess I'm alone in not liking it so far. It was like a straight-to-video sequel with Dan Mindel cinematography. The writing was terrible.

it was not good until the last 30 seconds.

that should tell JJ and crew something. [BLACKOUT]give me more monsters,
less retrofitted films that would never get made without the cloverfield name attached to it.[/BLACKOUT]
