So, since this is MB's RPG, does just one approval from twy suffice or do you need another okay? I don't know if ya'll talked about that when changing the rules.

If twy wants, she can get someone else of her choice to review it in my spot.

Infact, I'd kind of prefer two people make the call on it, since it wouldn't be fair to be done in one for any RPG I apply for, and have to have it go through two judges for the others.

Looks like an awesome idea MB. I'm interested.

They're allowed right?

If I added Transformers, that'd hurt the credibility of ever getting an actual TF RPG up.

Same with WoW and a fantasy RPG, aswell as Heroes and a Heroes RPG.

Not to mention if those RPG's were made, it'd be redundant, just like adding DC and Marvel characters to this. Despite my somewhat intrigued position on doing so.

Hmmm.....I could be tempted to consider Jonah Hex. I'm just beginning to get into the character, and was disappointed when he was initially excluded. So seeing him mentioned as applicable in MB's intro was a pleasant surprise, and piqued my interest. I'd need to find a way of integrating him into the game's timeline, but if I could, I'd definitely be up for joining in.

*Walks away*

This definitely sounds interesting. Do we have people interested in the BPRD? That is where I sort of see Aeon fitting.

But a Heroes RPG will never make it. This might. Admit it, MB. You just don't want me to play Peter Petrelli. :csad:

I don't know much about the independent comics, so I don't think I'll be part of this. Of course, by making this post, I've more or less doomed myself to joining eventually.

Which is exactly why I've been avoiding posting in this thread.

...****. :o

Eh, I don't really see how they wouldn't. They could fit in rather well with a lot of different settings.

Yeah, I can't really see it. The powers in that show are pretty light compared to the likes of what can be found in Image and Dark Horse, for example.

I mean, it would be ridiculously easy for Nikki's super strength or Nathan's flight to be overshadowed by the likes of a single character's powers such as Invincible, and would effectively reduce Heroes characters into pretty small potatoes by comparison.

And that's a problem...? Are you suggesting that people not play Gordon in DC RPGs because he's "small potatoes" compared to Superman? I thought it was about telling a good story - not just being the most powerful.

It's more about interacting with others than story-telling, IMO.
But still, that's no reason why the Heroes characters shouldn't be allowed on grounds of them not fitting in with the rest of the U.
They'd fit in better than some of the other characters that are allowed or are being considered for approval.

And if MB's argument against them was not wanting to step on an individual RPG's toes, I must say:

It's failed - miserably - twice. The newest application hasn't received a lot of buzz. I think it's pretty clear that Heroes will never survive on its own two feet. And this is coming from one of the biggest Heroes fans on the boards.
