That's one of my arguments. Another, and more important one being this: The point of Heroes is to have a set of superpowered individuals who exist in a real world where only they have superpowers. To take that element away renders them to the brink of uselessness, because not only with a majority of the characters interacting with them have powers, superpowered individuals are known throughout the world in a highly public fashion due to the history of costumed heroes.
