Its actually a little annoying. I understand the frustration of Sony not having a good idea of what they're doing, but the film was just announced a couple of months ago. They planned to do a trilogy, and the spin-offs are an afterthought. If they can't think of anything by the time TASM3 is released, then we have a problem. Otherwise, the film could just end up being cancelled and they will focus more on the Venom movie/other spin-offs.

My views on that are...it's a cool idea. There's a lot of potential there, obviously. What I'm really waiting for is Spider-Man vs The Sinister Six. That's what we're all waiting for.

Oh I like Venom2000000 and usually enjoy his videos. But he has his moments that make me roll my eyes and say, "whatever."

Like I said, if we were up to TASM3 and there were still NO plans… then I'd be worried for the Sinister Six. I don't think Sony plans on rebooting Spider-Man anytime soon either… they were lucky enough that people sat through a reboot the first time, but a second? No. You can't get people attached to a spider-man series AGAIN and expect to do it one more time so soon.

The plan is to keep this current series going for as long as possible (hence the spin-offs and TASM4 announcement).

This.There is no way they can mess this up this time around unless they mess up next two movies which I am confident they can nail it.They are much more cautious this time around and the series seems to be planned even before we got the reboot.

That's what I think too.I think we will get Black Spidey vs S6 with symbiote storyline starting near the beginning of 2nd act of TASM3.

I think TASM4, Venom, and S6 will all go together (considering all three films are the "afterthought"). They will coincide somehow and sort of go together, almost like a trilogy in a sense.

Ok, knowing that there are at least 7 chambers, let's figure out what could be in them.

We know that Doc Ock's arms and Vulture's wings will be in two of them, and it's a pretty darn good guess that the Goblin stuff (glider, armor, etc.) will be in another.

So that's three down...

The Eel tank could be in one. I could see Harry using one of the chambers to enhance Electro's powers. The enery containment suit that Electro wears could be part of this one...

From here it's all about what could be in them, based on the villains we know...

- The black goo (symbiote) is likely.

- Shocker gloves is possible.

- I could actually see a cross-species Rhino chamber. Once the Mech is defeated bringing it back may be redundant, but if Alexei was willing to undergo the process the cross-species thing would be cool.

- Scorpion's suit would make sense, but would be very similar to Rhino as far as being the muscle. I'm starting to winder if Rhino will be back, though didn't Giamati say he would be back in TASM3? If he did then that lends support to the S6 in TASM3, not 4.

- An illusion suit with holographic projection, chemical weapons, etc.

- Chamelian's belt or suit? Unlikely, but possible.

- A Sand melecularizer. Although it's possible, I would be surprised if Webb tried to redo Sandman, especially if Rhino will be there. Rhino effectively becomes the muscle on the team instead of Sandman.

- Spider Slayers

- Jackal Cross-Species. Not likely.

Now it would make sense that villains without equipment wouldn't be represented. This would include:

Kraven, Black Cat, Kingpin, Shriek, Morbius (guess he could be), Carrion and Silverman.

Also those who are very similar to others wouldn't be included. This would include:

Menace, Hobgobin, Doppelganger, Demogoblin and Carnage.

So the most likely list is:

Definitely/Most Likely:

1. Goblin (Glider, Armor, etc.)
2. Doc Ock (Arm harness)
3. Vulture (Wing harness)

Likely to round out the remaining four:

4. Electro's Eel tank
5. Rhino cross-species (different from the Mech - unless Mech Rhino gets away in TASM2)
6. Symbiote Black Goo (Please not part of the Sinister Six!!!)
7. Scorpion Suit
8. Shocker Gloves/Suit

Less likely:

9. Mysterio's suit
10. Jackal cross-species
11. Sandman moleculizer thingee
12. Spider-Slayers
13. Black Cat cross-species
14. Vampire cross-species
15. Chamelion Belt/Suit

Almost impossible:

16. Anything to do with Kingpin
17. Anything to do with Kraven
18. Anything to do with Carrion
19. Anything to do with Shriek
20. Anything to do with Silvermane

Yup. TASM 4 will be Spiderman vs Sinister Six.Venom will be aftermath of spiderman losing the symbiote and S6 will be the planning of another showdown with the webhead.

I'm still leaning towards the Sinister Six being in TASM3. Here are the reasons:

- Giamatti said something about being back in TASM3. So did Cooper. If Rhino will be part of the S6, which I think he will be, that means TASM3 is the S6.

- The S6 is being set up now. These movies are every two years. To show us the S6 and then make us wait 3 or 4 years (depending if the S6 got their own prequel, which I think is not a great ide) would be a bad move.

- The idea of Norman or Oscorp (Otto) bringing together the S6 to defeat Spiderman makes a lot of sense, and plays right into where we will be at the end of TASM2.

- I believe, unfortunately, that Venom will be part of the S6. The best way to use him after would be as a team-up in an Amazing Spider-Man movie versus Carnage. Maximum Carnage would be an amazing name for TASM4. This would leave Venom set up for his own spin-off flick.

- The other way to make Venom happen is to have Peter with the Black Suit (symbiote) during TASM3 so it can be shown and understood and used to create Venom for TASM4. So if the S6 and Venom will be in TASM3 and 4 it makes more sense for the S6 to come first.

The only real reasons why people feel that the S6 might be in TASM4 and not in TASM3 is because it's hard for us to fathom them doing a 6 person villainous group correctly in just one movie, and because it's hard for us to see how a stand alone flick could work for the Sinister Six after they've been defeated by Spiderman. This makes people automatically assume that the Sinister Six standalone must be a prequel. Personally I don't get the idea of an S6 stand alone flick, but we'll see...

Can we be sure TASM4 will be the Sinister 6? it could be Venom vs Spidey for the 4th because i doubt Venom will be in the Sinister 6 especially if they can plan on making a separate venom movie and Sinister 6 movie and if they do Spider vs Venom before sinister 6 it sounds like it would likely be a compacted 1 movie for black suit and venom again

wouldn't it make more sense for 3rd black suit vs Sinister 6, then next film Venom vs Spider-man then they can do solos for them after that, it would probably work better, i know some will say its to soon for sinister 6 but unless they do a solo Venom movie before Venom vs Spidey then Venom would likely suffer for that especially if you want a full spider-man vs venom movie alone, and thats unless they do away with the blacksuit story altogether

"I think I'm only doing the next movie, I don't think I'm in the next-next movie," he said.

Yes, the same article talked about rumors of the Sinister Six being in TASM4, but there was no evidence used to support that.

This doesn't really mean anything though. When he first signed up for TASM2, there were no plans for spin-offs or a TASM4. They could have asked him to come back now for more movies, but we'll see.

They can't just say "Here's Vulture and Doc Ock. They're fighting Spider-man. That's all you need to know about them." Regardless of what villains are in the third film, we need to have a story that makes sense. We need them to be developed characters. Let's say it's Norman since he seems the most likely option. We get an introduction to him in TASM2, but that's not a fully developed character. They'd have to spend more time on him and his story in TASM3. Or what if it's new characters? We have to start from the beginning and get to know them. We can't just throw everything in out of nowhere and expect to have fully functioning characters. I'm convinced that's the purpose of the S6 spinoff film.

If you're talking about Orci, that's not the case. He said Spider-man 4 would be it's own thing, as would the spinoffs. Here's the direct excerpt from IGN.

IGN: There are release dates through Spider-Man 4. Will that be a continuation of the Spider-Man franchise or might what we're calling The Amazing Spider-Man 4 be a placeholder for Sinister Six or Venom?

Orci: There were three superheroes I loved when I was a kid: Superman, Wonder Woman and Spider-Man. I think it's such a popular character, and when I see my friend's kids, I remember why somehow, it sinks into kid's brains. if they fight spidey in TASM 4 then people cant really complain when it comes to venom if they plan on using venom in a vs spider-man movie because he will likely suffer for that because they will have to put it all into one film, they obviously wanna use venom pretty soon though because they already got plans for it

not only do we not know if andrew will return for a 5th so its very hard to do a direct continuation from 4th to 5th with a recast

overall yes they can introduce doc ock and the vulture in a sinister 6 vs spider-man movie, it may not be the prefered idea but they can do and do it well

That's basically how I see it. A Sinister Six solo movie provides for some awesome visuals and, at the same time, puts a massive focus on character development (particularly in the motivation department). After all, these characters aren't Spider-man himself. They're not the familiar thing, so developing them as much as possible should be the primary function in this case.
