The Amazing Spider-Man 2 The Connection Between the Chamber of 6, Fedora Guy and The Vulture/Doc Ock Harnesses

Am I the only one who sees Masse in that silhouette?

I feel like when Marc says, "if you think you know what's going to happen, you're wrong," he isn't necessarily referring to Gwen dying or not. There is more going on here, and I think he is really talking about what is going on behind closed doors with Oscorp and the Man in the Shadows. Something is up.

Well it definitely resembles masse more than cooper that's for sure.

Everything will be clarified once we find out who TMITS really is, which probably won't be until the third film.

Its a possibility, but I don't know if that's really the case. It WOULD explain how the silhouette resembles Michael Masse more than Chris Cooper though.

Chris Cooper, in terms of appearance, is how Norman really looks.

So, while his decoy poses as him, Norman has altered his own appearance to keep up the illusion. His new visage, being that of Michael Massee.

What if Cooper is really Norman Osborn, but he has used the face of TMITS as the "image" of Norman in terms of being a public figure--hence the silhouette? That way no one would recognize Norman (Cooper) when they really see him? It would be a way of protecting himself from other enemies perhaps?

Or it's just a young image of Norman from when he started Oscorp.

This.

Don't think too hard about it, guys. Cooper is Norman. Massee is a different character entirely. Perhaps the Gentleman. Perhaps Otto. Nothing is certain yet. I just know Chris Cooper said his role will continue. So it sounds to me like he's Norman the entire time.

Haha yeah, I was over thinking it a little bit. Just thought it was a fun theory to come up with. :)

I'm pretty sure it's are Job to over speculate sometimes lol.

I used to want Massee to be revealed as Norman, but now I just wanna see where they could take this "the gentleman" thing. much more interesting than "oh okay so he was actually Norman all along... cool?"

Yeah, I do agree with that. The more I read of "the gathering" novel, the more creeped out I am by the character called "The Gentleman." If he doesn't like someone, he snaps his fingers and has them killed, no questions asked. And he is always spying on Spider-Man throughout the novel, with nobody knowing who he is.

Oh! Sorry, I see what you mean. That makes sense.

This is also one of my ideas as to how MIS got in & out. Heres hoping. I think Webb if still around for 3rd flick will add Mysterio.

Try twitting Marc or any Marvel Exec working on these films & you never know they may see that the light inside the fishbowl is quite appealing & translate to movie world.

:D

I feel like if Mysterio was ever used, we would get the USM design with the 616 backstory:

I tell you something else. His dome could also resemble the Daft Punk helmet & although folk may not like the exact copy of that idea its still a good looking prop. Infact I love the entire costume.

Black is cool but imagine a metallic green/purple instead of black? This could be a cool movie Mysterio concept.

Who wants a bowl of Mysterios?

Wait, Daft Punk helmets?

And Pharrell's already on board?

We're up all night to get Spidey!

Alright, so in watching the new trailer TMITS was not wearing a lab coat, but instead the black tranch coat (or something similar) as seen in the post-credits scene after TASM1.

But, here's something else to consider...

The voice of TMITS, who says "We have plans for you, Peter Parker" is definitely NOT Cooper. So it's not Norman. It could be Masse saying that and the voice sounds just like the guy that says "The future" in response to Harry asking about the stuff in the chamber of the future scene.

So, my top 3 are still as follows:

1. Otto Octavius - Oscorp Engineer and inventor of all of this "future" stuff.

2. The Gentleman - The one who will bring the Sinister Six together.

3. Spencer Smythe (or Alistair) -

We know that B.J.Novak is Alistair Smythe, so that makes Spencer Smythe more of a possiblity.

Umm.., It definitely IS Chris Cooper. Watch October Sky. It's on Netflix. That is absolutely Chris Cooper. His voice is very recognizable, especially for a fan of his like me. Michael Massee has an entirely different kind of voice. Compare it to his voice in the post credits scene of TASM or any of his other films.

^ So you think TMITS is Norman?

Because TMITS is the one that says "The future" and "We have plans for you Peter Parker".

Not sure how much it makes sense for TMITS to be Norman at this point. Personally, I've always felt that originallt TMITS was Norman, but it was changed to someone else and in TASM2 we'll find out it's either Otto, Spencer Smythe or the Gentleman.

But you're sure that that is Chris Cooper, huh? To me it sounds like someone else.

No, I don't think TMITS is Norman. Just because the line plays over him in the trailer doesn't mean it's him. In one of the previous trailers that line is said over Rhino's foot stomping, but it's certainly not Paul Giamatti saying it.

I don't think TMITS is in it beyond the post credits scene. Maybe he'll have one or two brief scenes, but that's it.
