I am not liberal, i do lean left as i believe in womans rights, environment, common sense gun laws and oddly the rule of law which the right no longer cares about, so, while i am not happy at all that we reelected a failure once again to the presidency, one who is petty, has a price, has no respect of this country at all, and has zero problem pitting people against each other, the fact we live in a very divided country, one where either side takes joy in the others misery and goes out their way to tell you how terrible the other is, in fact i have an old high school friend, she is religious and is a proud Maga, she told me last week, all the hate in the country is 100% from the left, Maga isnt racist or mean, just want to make this country livable without wokeness, yet i can tell you from vast experience, that i have received untold amounts of hate and redicule from maga, i have been called names, my family mocked, and more hate than i can express, but i am supposed to listen to her say there is no hate on the right...the fact she doesnt see it, is what is wrong, we no longer see each other as humans, only someone to destroy, i know there is hate from the left, but as of today, no one on the left has tried to overthrow the government, no one on the left has tried to assassinate Trump (both were Trump supporters), there is no well organized left militia, unlike the right, yes there is ANTFA, but i am not seeing anything out of them, i dont see democratic senators or congressman call of a national divorce between red and blue states, only MTG has said that numerous times, I didnt see Biden extort things from red states when there was natural disasters, yet Trump will and has.
My point is , no matter how bad it will get and it will get much worse, unless there is a seismic shift in what Americans will take from the regime in power, this is what we will have to deal with, if therapy helps so be it, all i can do is put my head down, hope i will be able to vote in a couple years, but i simply dont see any kind of uprising to overthrow this coming dictatorship, we are not the same americans our forefathers were.
