Mergers, acquisitions, FCC demanding they lick Trump or their broadcast license gets revoked, softpedaling Trump so they don’t lose more Republican viewers, and other issues. When Trump is gone they still feel indebted, helped by (‘fascism is good/better for business than democracy’, or fear the wrath of his MAGA successors.
