Iron Man 2 The Critics review Iron Man 2

Couldn't read all of Harry's review as it was giving away to much. But, what I read I liked. I usually like his reviews.

Oh, I'm still totally seeing it if the reviews are bad. This movie was never one of those wait and see movies to me, it's a must see.

Thats right. Most general audience are gonna see it too. They probably gonna like it.

Yep. I think Dead Man's Chest is probably a good comparison for Iron Man 2. Critics gave DMC a mixed reception, but audiences liked it a lot judging by its legs at the box office and its huge DVD sales.

Up until now, I cant sppt where Edison Chen is! :cmad:

I think, if I'm not mistaken, he actually welcomes Fox when he gets off the helicopter landing in Hong Kong. You can barely see him. Something tells me I'm wrong though.

I'll take Harry's word on this one. He was right about Star Trek, which he posted a huge, gushing review about how amazing it was.

If you count a quick Twitter message and that fat guy from Aint it Cool News, then yeah we've had four reviews Ace.

Ehhh so we haven't had any then? :awesome:

Thanks anyway, hopefully they'll be up when i get back from work.

Will have to "find" him...

Yup, that's him. You get a quick glimpse of his face when Fox hands in his phone. And that's it. :funny:

Ugh I thought DMC was a piece of crap. Action scenes that went on forever with no point. Soooo bored. :o I liked AWE better because stuff actually happened that mattered to the storyline. :funny:

Well all 3 Pirates were extremely popular with most people...
Altho I dont want Iron man to follow Pirates, I want at least IM2 to be critically good.

I thought that Pirates 3 was the worst one. I very much disliked it. To each her own though.

The critics who complain about lack of action better have made the same complaints about a certain Superhero movie that came out in 2006...or they are huge hypocrites.

The guy who writes for FilmSchoolRejects tweeted this
I've read 3 reviews, Harry's *******,the Mirror hackjob, and 1 middling. Not sure what movie these people saw, dont seem to get it

Seriously people, don't get worked up over these "reviews" if you can even call them that.

IM2 is not going to be TDK, nor should it be. IM2 should be a character piece as IM1 was. No TDK was not a character piece. I think it was a great movie, but the characters were archetypes, and not really characters. I'm not saying that's bad, that's what that movie needed. It was almost like a Greek tragedy.

That's not Iron Man, and never has been. I read part of the Knowles review, and tried to skip the major spoilers, but it did confirm what I've suspected for along time based on a shot of Tony with his shirt off, that looked very suspicious. I think it's in one of the trailers. Anyway it explains what's happening with the Mark VI.

In addition the movie explains what IM has always been about in the comics. Iron Man is not just a superhero, he is Tony Stark's life support system. He is tied to the armor as a crippled man is attached to his wheel chair.

I can sense elements of the Extremis storyline, although it looks to be altered quite a bit, but the essence of it is there.

Don't worry about reviews guys. Go see the damn movie, and let's hope there's more on the horizon!

I will go to this movie tommorow, and i really think this movie will be fantastic and even better then IM1:woot:

The mind is boggled.

A friend told me that all reviews are fake because everyone who saw it signed a contract that they would not post any reviews until April 30th.

LOL, you guys and your TDK/IM crap.

Geezus H. on ice skates.
