Seriously people, don't get worked up over these "reviews" if you can even call them that.
IM2 is not going to be TDK, nor should it be. IM2 should be a character piece as IM1 was. No TDK was not a character piece. I think it was a great movie, but the characters were archetypes, and not really characters. I'm not saying that's bad, that's what that movie needed. It was almost like a Greek tragedy.
That's not Iron Man, and never has been. I read part of the Knowles review, and tried to skip the major spoilers, but it did confirm what I've suspected for along time based on a shot of Tony with his shirt off, that looked very suspicious. I think it's in one of the trailers. Anyway it explains what's happening with the Mark VI.
In addition the movie explains what IM has always been about in the comics. Iron Man is not just a superhero, he is Tony Stark's life support system. He is tied to the armor as a crippled man is attached to his wheel chair.
I can sense elements of the Extremis storyline, although it looks to be altered quite a bit, but the essence of it is there.
Don't worry about reviews guys. Go see the damn movie, and let's hope there's more on the horizon!
