I was going to ask the same question as to whether recent events could lead to a complete reversal, but I see people are already weighing in. I was hoping it would be the one potential silver lining in all of this, but it looks like we'll have to rely on the rights slowly escaping Sony's clutches through their own stupidity.

I do have some knowledge (and experience, I suppose) with legal areas, but contract law is mostly outside of my purview, so I couldn't recall anything relevant. Unfortunately for us, I think the "act of God" concept (I couldn't find anything on it as it relates to film contracts, unfortunately) might not be to our advantage here.

if Marvel truly is about to let the Hulk go then hopefully universal will come back and do a Hulk 2 some years down the line and wipe out these bad memories from infinity war and endgame.

As much as I don't trust WGTC, I can actually see this being the case. Especially if his arm is REALLY damaged and can't be repaired. I'm hoping that isn't the case because we never saw the other Hulk personifications but I would not be completely shocked if this is the case at all.

Unfortunately it's likely to be Professor Hulk in She-Hulk. And that would take away from the uniqueness of She-Hulk who always retains her intelligence if Hulk is also like that. Although maybe they could use it as an explanation for why Jennifer remains intelligent, because she got her transfusion from an intelligent Hulk, even if Hulk later becomes more savage again.

Professor Hulk I don't think can be explained away off-screen. Thor can lose weight between movies easily, but Hulk reverting back would require an explanation. So it's gonna end up being Professor Hulk.

I think, just from a CGI/cost perspective, they're more likely to have Bruce than Professor Hulk.

It wouldn't shock me if the guy who dosed himself with Gamma Rays to merge his minds might undergo similar self experimentation to try to fix his arm. That could lead to Joe Fixit making an appearance.

I think some version of Grey Hulk or Joe Fixit is more likely than reverting to old school Hulk. I could see some form of Grey Hulk happening as an evolution of the Professor Hulk angle. I think old school Hulk likely is done at this point. At least for now.

I know Marvel gets the rights to the Netflix shows characters soon, but does Disney get to use the old episodes on Hulu???

He didn't do any proper fighting at all in Endgame. He was completely ineffective. He could just as easily have been Banner and not Hulk since he didn't contribute to anything in the final battle.

He was like a glorified car jack, just propping something up.

He should of full on Hulked out at that point, getting angry that he couldn’t hold it up then smashed his way through instead of staying as giant green Banner and Ant Man getting the save.
