The CW Passes on Aquaman

Yeah I have to admit when Im wrong and From the look of this trailer I might have been. I wasnt really interested in it and thought it would be just a smallville clone. But after seeing the trailer...that actually looked fairly decent. It's a shame it doesnt get the chance. Oh well.

It's a trailer. It's supposed to get your attention. It has nothing to do with the quality of the show.

How do you know it will still suck ? Did you travel to the future in your Time Machine & you watched it for yourself ? You may not have liked the Trailer fine. But is it a must for you to come bash the Show & People that liked it & would at least like to see the Pilot Episode ? That is trolling & also STOP STATING YOUR OPINIONS LIKE THEY ARE FACT which they ARE NOT. Just because you did not like the Trailers does not mean others will. Please leave the Thread if you think your opinion is the only one that matters what you seem to think that. If you continue to do this I will notify a mod of your posting & how you are posting. You are trolling

LOL! The irony is amusing. Youre "yelling" at me because im saying it will suck without having seen the pilot, yet you guys are petiotionig to get it on tv because you guys think it will be good without having seen the pilot. Amusing, comical even.

By the way dont threaten me please, thats very petty, either do it or dont. I have not been trolling. Just because I think the trailer was ok but the show will still suck doesnt mean im trolling, it means I have a different opinion. But by all means do contact a mod.

LOL!!!

Darth, for what's it's worth, I don't see your posts as trolling. Far from it. The show wasn't picked up for whatever reason. I wouldn't have minded seeing it; the trailer looked interesting, but I'm not weeping that it didn't make the sked. I'm of the opinion that if it happens, it happens. But talking good or bad about it in *this* forum is far from trolling. It's not like this is a forum for that show, so it really shouldn't matter one way or another. Just my humble opinion. :)

Thanks I appreciate it. It just seems to me IMO, that petitioning to get back a show based on a 2 minute trailer is shaky at best.

The trailer I uploaded on YouTube 1-2 days ago already got 50,000 views, that's a lot of interest.. lol.

Yeah, on-line petitions are a waste of time. I think if folks are really interested, they should send SNAIL MAIL to various netlets requesting they consider the show for a series pick-up. That's the only really effective way of getting anybody's attention.

If you REALLY want to make a good impression, target one network - the Sci-Fi Chan, for example - and send them plastic fish (or some kind of cheap trinket along those lines) and request the show. THAT's how it's done folks. I'm an expert at this - got my fansite listed in TV Guide for successfully pulling off such a hair-brained (but effective) ploy. ;)

Ah, the good ole days. Thank GOODNESS that nonsense if OVAH!!!

Wow, Views: 50,843 & counting

5 stars in ratings

Pepole saying this series looks better than smallville .

The CW are idiots if they don't pick up this series .

I must say I'm shocked @ how well people love this trailer & want to see a series .

Not saying much but I liked the Pilot trailer. I agree with everyone. Just because the trailer looks good doesn't mean the show, itself would be.

I already got a heavy FotW vibe just from watching the hints of it.

That's a great pose.

Obviously, it's just a trailer for a pilot, most of the pilots are always good and are among the best episodes of a series.

I am glad it got a Title Change. I never liked "Mercy Reef"

But usually after the Pilot, that's all she wrote. SV has fit that bill in many cases. Don't get me wrong I still tune in, enjoy the occasional episode, but when they actually hit on a strong arc I'm very surprised. I don't think they could have pulled off both shows in the long run.

I'm ticked that the show didn't get a chance, but that comes with the business.

Hey according to this article

Aquaman Still A Contender
ING reports that Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment for CW, said "Aquaman is still a midseason contender," at a press conference yesterday.

There's life in the show yet...

So AC may still swim after all on The CW.

I like that the name of the show is called AQUAMAN not mercy reef . Also I think the theme song should be the one in the trailer .

Why take the Trailer Offline ? If the Show could still possibly get onto the CW I would keep the Trailer Online & watch & let the interest grow
