I just got back from my local TRUs, and guess what? They had the Movie Masters on the shelves. I grabbed the Batman and Joker however they wouldnt sell it to me. At the register it came up as "restricted until 5/1", as was reported by Jeff Cope on actionfigureinsider. The manager apologized to me, but I told him that I knew this would happen. He had a clerk remove the remaining figs from the shelf and put them behind the service counter. They did, however, put my name on my 2 figs and stuck them seperate and said they would hold them for me until the first. Which was cool of them. I asked if they were going to have a big display like they did with Begins and the managet told me that as of today, they have received nothing in displays. Only the merchandise. However he did say they usually dont receive that until afew days ahead, so who knows. I told him thanks for holding them for me and I will be back at 10:00 am on the 1st of May.lol

The Batman figure is awesome. I still dont like the suit, but the figure is great. There is alot of articulation. He comes with an evidence sticker and a small Batman mask. Joker I was a bit disappointed in. Sloppy paint app. and not as nice as the proto we have seen, but overall not that bad. He comes with the evidance sticker and the playing card, which looked to be a real card from what I could make out. He also has a small knife in his hand.

For those wanting to open the figs without damaging the card, sorry, theres no way around it. Its a big bubble pack that is completely sealed around the cardboard.

meh. Its all good. I dont think its going to be real hard to find the figures. Collectors line or standard. Anyway, I know my 2 are saved, so its cool. I have to say again, tho, the Batman really was cool. Alot nicer than I thought it would be.

It wasnt "bad", just not as detailed as the proto pics. I think what really distracted was the bad paint application. I will probably change it for a better one on the 1st. Also, it didnt look like there was much poseability as compared to Batman. The cool things was the evidence card and the small knife they have in his hand.

yeah I figured the Movie Masters Joker wouldnt live up to the prototypes .. shame.. oh well... still got my case on order.. i want that Joker card more than anything right now

LOL...the EXACT same thing happened to me today. I was going to pick up Batman and the lady said they couldn't sell it until the 1st of May. I wasn't trippin' though, I told her i'll just come back.

Indeed. I am very impressed with TDKs toyline. Having never looked at any proto pics or anything, I was quite surprised at how detailed and articulated they seem to be. A definate step up from the BB line which I found to be very lackluster in both quality and variety.

Nah, I wasn't really trippin'...I was a stocker at TRU for about a year and from my experience, stockers don't really look at when they're supposed to stock certain toys (at least I never did)...we just cut open and stocked whatever was on our pallet load.

I mean i'll get them eventually...I can wait two weeks.

They read on the price scanners at my TRUs, but the register put up the no sale.

havent any of you considered 'faking' the bar codes.. using other barcodes and taping them onto the packaging?? Dishonest I know.. but **** .. we need these figures and waiting two weeks for figures AND a trailer is gonna drive us ALL MAD!!!

Yeah and the scanner would read the barcode for a different product and the employee would realize the scam your trying to pull. Don't be foolish and if you are going to try something like that be a little smarter about it next time when coming up with a plan. You aren't going to die if you don't get these figures before the intended release date so stop talking non-sense.

you'd be surprised how dumb these employees can be sometimes ... (not to say I've tried it) but you would obviously use some type of Batman figure barcode ... and don't call me foolish .. i've done ALOT worse to stores in my day and got away with it AND I was also joking so take a chill-pill

The Two Face fig, that we know of, is for the smaller scale series, not the movie masters line. However there have only been 2 waves of the Masters line officially announced, so who knows who will be in future waves.

there will be a Two-Face in the smaller scale series for sure.. but wasn't it announced that Two-Face and Gordon would be in Wave 2?? maybe they got booted to a possible Wave 3 .... the only figures I know for sure.. Wave 1 - Batman, Chase Batman, Joker and Joker Goon .. Wave 2- BB Batman and/or Demon Batman, BB Scarecrow ...

I'm sure there will be a Two Face in one of the later waves. All my TRU got in was 2 regular Batmans, one Joker, and one Thug. We literally only got in a single box of them, and the chase figure wasnt even in it...Also, with how few figures are in a box, I guess it's not a "chase" figure anyway, as each box only comes with one...By the way, I got some pictures for all of you...
