just something i was thinking about...a year from now,do you see MM being a part of the marketplace? with the sheer amount of pissed off people who can't find these, will they come back when they're actually on pegs? and will Mattel have enough faith to allow characters like Alfred,Gordon, and (maybe) Rachel to be made into toys, much less the characters from older films in the Batman and Superman quadrilogies?
i guess what i'm asking is do you see MM being something that will stick around for years,or a quick lightning in a bottle toy line that will fade once the hype goes away ? i know plans are in the works for more figures, but sales will determine whether or not is survives, and i wonder if enough figures like Alfred or Gordon will sell as much as needed to keep it viable, much less older ones like Reeve Superman,Zod,Catwoman,etc....sure,the collector's will eat them right up,but after that?
