Did that. Did nothing. Tried all the lines, said we'd call Corporate HQ, the news crews, all of that. Still nothing. So my brother refused to leave until all the toys were taken off the shelf. And so he did.

I wrote a complaint to Corporate HQ. Alot of stores give gift certificates for that, sometimes between $25 and $50. We'll see what happens. If not, then I'll try to put a smile on their faces.

At the TRU I work with, if something gets put out early, we'll usually give it to you. We had some Speed Racer stuff get out early, and we just keyed it through for the guy and then pulled it from the shelves. Earlier today, same thing happened with a Wii Racing Wheel.

One of the local anime/hobby shops here in Burbank had all of the first series for $12.99.

I didn't pick any of them up because honestly they all looked disappointing. The regular version of Joker is TERRIBLE. Any fan of Heath Ledger or anyone excited about this movie should refuse to get it in protets and simply wait for the Four Horsemen version.

Seriously guys, you aren't missing much here. The Bruce Wayne just looks like a shoddy repaint from the Begins series.

Also that basic Joker was designed for the kids, not the collectors. I actually think its rather cool with its animated looking quality.

Remember, these are just toys. Not golden statues.

from what Ive been reading the Movie Masters are out May 1st at TRU and Walmarts are sticking the kiddie-crap out on May 5th

Went to Wal-Mart tonight to pick up golf clubs and saw a pallet that had three Dark Knight boxes on it. I checked the boxes and they said nothing about street dates so I went and got somebody and asked them 'hey i saw these boxes and was wondering if you could open one?' he looked at me funny but did it so i was able to pick up the joker and batman movie masters. my joker's smile paint detail is smudged on one side so im waiting to get another one and open up this one to mess around with.

Sorry, I hate the crappy lack of detail in the basic version Joker and the stupid "animated" look. I just call it bad, inaccurate sculpting.

Over the weekend I got a Bruce to Ninja Batman figure at a Wal-Mart on the east side of Indy. Some around here have squat out while others have stocked one case of basic figures and tons of RC cars and role play accessories.

Found some cases today of the Movie Masters at a local wally world and ALMOST had the guy talked into selling them to me, but he wouldn't break the May 5th shelf date that was on the cases. D'oh! almost had'em!

i got the six inch batman(the one that doesn't remove the cowl) and a gotham city thug. tru said they only got those two in. so i'm still on the llokout for the joker(should've known that was gonna be the hard one!).
