Heres my swag. All from TRUs.

Wal Mart was already picked over. KB and Target both told me the 5th for their stuff. Kmart had nothing. FYE had a ton of posters. Im going to be back out by TRUs later when we go grocery shopping, Im going to go ahead and pick up Scarecrow.

Overall, Im happy. I got the basic ones I wanted. There were NO purple suited basic Jokers tho and none pictured on the backs of any of the packaging. Im guessing thats another case assortment for him. Also, I counted 4 different goon masks for the MM Goon.

I hope stores will have a lot of the Batman and Joker you placed on the right side of the picture, Shadowbat69. I'm also looking forward to getting the Batman figures similar to the Staff Strike Batman.

Ooh, since we had to go grocery shopping I went ahead and stopped back in TRUs and picked up him:

The manager saw me again and started laughing "need to buy more huh?". I just grinned and agreed. They're really cool at my TRUs. He also told me that they are suppose to have much more arriving in the following weeks including their exclusives.

I very much doubt it. They never released one for Scarecrow or Ra's when BB's came out, and that one's basically BB's with the new costume.

so i did some minor touchups to my figures...

first i fixed his eyes and added some flesh tone and some detail to his coat (smudged makeup, blood, and a dark blue wash to bring out the detail a bit...

i also added some yellow to his tie

then i fixed the smile a bit

my camera really doesnt do it justice but it looks much better now.

I'm considering getting some white paint and fixing his stupid flesh colored neck. Anyway, I got all the movie masters (minus maskless Batman), and Destructo-Case Joker. No purple suited Jokers from that line in my town either, I'm guessing he'll be wave 2.

one gotham city thug(aren't there two or three more with different masks?)

i'm gonna stay away from the "non movie masters figures unless they release other figures that won't be in the movie masters collection. i do hope we get BOTH a harvey dent and a two-face movie master figure. maybe an alfred, gordon and rachel as well. kinda glad they didn't release one from begins.katie holmes' figure would probably have that smirk she was showcasing towards the end of the film when she was talking to bruce where the mansion used to be.kinda looks like she was a victim from "the ring".

I did score two of the movie master Batman figures though. I'll pick up the rest of the series/wave next week, no worries.

I know man. I was freakin out yesterday. I went to TRU expecting to get my joker and no joker. Called another TRU and went over there--nothing but the green animated one. Went to target-zilch and every walmart in town was pilleged. Got one today at walmart on the outskirts of the city.

I got two of the movie masters Batman, one to open, the other to keep in package. I'm really hoping I get the Joker from this set. There were none in my area but then again its still early.

I also picked up the regular size Batman, Joker, and Scarecrow. Their articulation sucks, the Batman Begins line was better.

Does anyone know if the Joker card that comes with the figure is any good?

It's a pretty thin stock and mine was bent on the edges in the packages. I've noticed a lot of quality errors on these figures in general. In addition to the lipstick smear up the face on all the jokers mine also had a bit of a loose hip joint. Not a biggie I just wish they paid more attention to this stuff for $12 each.

i still cant believe, that they have so many figures up for the hulk , chronicles of narnia, lets not forget speed racer seriously they had so much speed racer stuff and this small amont of tdk stuff.

Isn't the actual release date for Batman figures May 5? So probably on that day, there will be a lot more selection and larger display area for the toys.


At least that's what I'm hoping for.

At toysrus, no they won't expand it for now. Toysrus wont get more stock until next week sometime. May 5th Walmart will put out more most likely as will Target and possibly Kmart
