The Dark Knight Action Figure SCOOP

$36? Man, I am really kicking myself for not buying the other three Jokers I saw a few weeks back.

Is that wrong?
 
Does anybody know if the Movie Masters are out in Canada yet. I cant find any of The Dark Knight merchendise any were around here. Thanks.
 
Well today I got a great surprise. I have been completely disappointed by the lack of TDK merch over here. Most local retailers where I live in Australia have nothing and the ones that do have something have the basic figures (I think I've seen a couple of the destructo case Jokers, a Scarecrow and a bundle of those every-colour-under-the-sun Batmans). No one even has the black suited basic Batman figure. Everyone charges $15 AUS (about $14 US) for the basic, but that's pretty standard here. Anyway, I walk in to my local Target (after having been there last week) and there they have two of the MM Batmans, 1 Joker and a Goon with the Grumpy mask for $20 each ($19US). Couldn't resist at actually finding some decent TDK merch, so threw down $80 and got them all. So any Aussies out there, keep your eyes on the lookout because MM exist in Australia, they're just really hard to find.

Yep, not sure where yo uare at but the Target at Tuggerah had them. The other local Targets and other stores didn't so not sure if it's just lucky that there were a couple and that's where they went or not, but they're out there!
 
just went out, nothing at target but toys r us had like these deluxe 5" figures and they had 12" batman and bruce as batman. Asked about movie masters and the guy said keep checking cos they get new stuff each day.
 
My Toys R Us has nothing. How much was the 12" Batman and Bruce as Batman?

If I can get my hands on more MM I will ship to people for cost + shipping. Don't know what I can get, but if anyone in Australia is keen I'm happy to help out.

^ Well fingers crossed some show up wherever you are. Will definitely let you know if I see any more around. I'm thinking they're going to be hard to get because most places I asked didn't expect to get anything but the basic figures and when I mentioned Movie Masters most staff were "huh?!". Like I said, if anyone's desperate and I can get my hands on some extras will definitely pick them up for you guys. Checked out the Australia Post web site and the figure won't fit in a 500g satchel (misses out by 1cm!), but will fit up to 2 figures in a 3kg satchel. If I can get them will do them for cost + postage which is basically $10. I don't mind helping out and at least that way you don't get screwed by some person on ebay cause I just checked and they're going for $50 + dollars on there at the moment (a Joker is selling at $62 and still has most of a day to go!). Should be making a trip again tomorrow and if they have anything I'll just buy them and let you know. If you want them, cool, if not I'll have a few stashed as collectors items.
 
None of the stores around here have the Movie Masters Joker. They have Batman and the Thug, but no Joker. When I ask about it, they go do their thing on the computer and check inventory and everytime I get the same answer..."that one hasn't been released yet". I don't get it. Why is the Movie Masters Joker released at Wal-Mart and certain other toy stores in some places, but not others?
 
AUSTRALIAN FANS - MM FIGS EXIST IN THIS COUNTRY!!!!!!!!
Just went to a Target on my lunch break and saw batman. Got on the phone to my local target and they said they can't put them out till 6 weeks befor the films release, i told them to check their dates cos its EXACTLY 6 weeks before release. Long story short, I have batman, joker and thug in my hands. Thanks to aturner for alerting me to check Targets!
 
Also a few people on the boards claim that some Targets have been getting MM figures. I went to three Targets this week and there weren't even pegs for them. What gives?
 
Ive seen nothing at Target except the basics and empty pegs for the 4" line.

Totally lame. Especially since I love Target and don't really like going to Walmart. Target totally dropped the ball.

I just remembered how back in the day, my mom worked at a department store and she used to be able to get me and my brother Power Rangers figures no matter what (back in the crazy Power Rangers days) cause they would open up a box when they got em in and give em to her. God, how handy would that be now? Too bad she quit like 12 years ago and that place closed down like 5 years ago.
 
im gogin to get these just because they are said to be 7 inch which would be good for my other figs

The back of my movie masters packs have "Mattel Canada Inc" on the bottom. So i assume they will be released there.
 
wow!i may have to get the movie masters two pack of the scarecrow!being that i have both the mm batman and joker, no need to get them again just because they are in the same pack. i used to get burned like that years ago when i first started collecting.
 
i would say it might be better to get the 2 pack because they are a bigger scale than the originals
i mean yeah 7inches woo but ima get them anyways
 
the movie masters are definatley avaliable from target is australia
picked up 2 jokers, one for me and one for my sister
