Actually, I've noticed a few differences between wave 1 Joker and wave 2. Wave 2 actually has a better paint job, more grungy dirtier look to it, but the black (it looks kinda grey to me) around the eyes is a tad bit lighter. I'll try to post pics later. Its not really a drastic change, but looking at them side by side, you can tell the difference. And no he doesnt have the "I'm sorry" face which is a plus.

Hey all i'm a newbie long time lurker first time poster, today lawrenceville, nj toysrus had about 2-3 boxes of MM wave 2 figs but sold out as soon as they opened before I could get there and walmart i lawrenceville as well had them but sold out once again this morning.....its been a crappy week up here lookin for the figures

I hate walmart. The employees are rude and stupid. The woman at the walmart a few exits down from me. She's a real hell-****. A regular figure-nazi.

First WalMart I hit, first Wave 2 case I ever saw. Got him. Since then, loads of Wave 2 figures sighted and not a single Fear Toxin Batman in sight. I heard stories on the Wave 1 chase figure that stores would get in 12 cases and not see a single chase figure in the lot.

Just went to the Walmart in Orland Park, IL and got a Batman Begins MM. They didn't have any Scarecrows or Jokers and there was no one around to ask. Then on the way home, I decided to stop at the one in Crestwood. Once again, all they had was the Batman Begins MM and none else. There were two pegs under the peg of Batman that were empty and it looks like the item tags were taken off the peg. I should check the Walmart in Bridgeview again but I'm low on gas so oh well.

So you can add Crestwood, IL to the list. They had about 8 more Batman MM's left.

I love collector's mentality. Anytime anyone sees another person in a store with some collectible item in the person's hands that THEY wanted but were too late in arriving to obtain, that person is automatically labelled a "scalper". It's happened to me so many times. Just the other night I had four Jokers in my hands at WalMart and my brother and I were walking away from the toy department I heard another guy mutter something to the effect that I was going to put them on eBay. It's so funny to me. Fact is I was purchasing them for co-workers and friends who have been in the same boat as many of us over the past months, wanting these figures and turning up empty handed. In fact... wouldn't your Father purchasing 4 Begins Batman's be catagorized as "scalper" activity?

Just saying. Don't be so quick to judge that just because someone was quicker on the draw than you that they are automatically an evil, dirty scalper.

I know this is a bit far-fetched, but its worth a shot. Does anyone have an alex ross joker figure they want to trade me for a scarecrow unopened MM ? I'll throw in some extra cash too perhaps and would settle for a loose one if you promise to package it with some care.

Any Nolan Bat fans looking for a Tumbler in scale with the Movie Master figures? No problem.

If you buy the new "Stealth Launch" Batmobile at TRU, and you remove the bat-pod (which is in perfect 5 inch scale), it leaves a HUGE amount of room in the Batmobile. And this Batmobile compared to the regular one released from BEGINS, is alot larger, probably to fit the bat-pod inside. So much so that it visibly looks perfect in scale with the 6 inch MM figures, and Batman fits in perfectly. I highly reccomend it to anyone. Afterall, the Tumbler doesn't launch the Bat-pod in the movie anyway ...

Best of both worlds. Now all we need is the 4H to go ahead with those plans that they said they might be asked to make an in-scale bat-pod for the MM line. That would be the cream of the crop. Cause I do not want to drop the cash for that oustanding piece of memrobilia in the Hot Toys Bat-pod. He looks like such a bad ass riding that bike. And I tell ya, it was damn intimidating in person.

Wow... I'll sweeten that pot a bit. If anyone has an Alex Ross Joker that they would be willing to part with, I would go ahead and hook you up with not only a Scarecrow, but a Joker and Begins Batman!

That Ross Joker goes for around $40-$50 LOOSE on eBay.

Going from memory (I am at work right now) I would say that the TKJ figures are just a tiny bit larger than MM's. I can check and post when I am at home tomorrow. Most of the DC Direct figures are in the same scale, but I think the MM's are just the tiniest bit smaller.

In any event, I HIGHLY recommend picking up that Killing Joke set. Both figures are great. I have them posed up with the hardback anniversary edition of the graphic novel with my Red Hood/Joker set posed in front of them. Looks great.
