The Dark Knight Rises

hope it comes out for Android, would be nice to have on my xperia play

Gameloft, eh? So I'm guessing they'll just copy and paste a lot of elements from the Arkham City game.

I'm one of the few who are excited about this game, yea, chances are it's meh since it's a mobile game. But it does look kinda cool and I was hoping at some point to play a game in which we are in a Nolan styled Gotham with a Batman wearing the BB/TDK suit. I wonder how Bane will look.

Trust me, I've said in other threads. It will be almost impossible to match the quality rocksteady is bringing to the game with the Arkham series.

But nonetheless, as a Batman fan, I really wish there was a home system platform game for all 3 movies. Maybe one day...

I don't, because it'd more than likely be a product rushed to the market to make a quick buck and as a result, not be very good. I'd much rather have the Arkham series, where the developers take their time to make sure the campaign is top notch.

Yeah, I can't fathom why anyone would actually want that. Maybe in some alternate reality where movie games are awesome...but they would still just be movie games.

Like...let's say that Arkham 3 was coming out this year and there was an HD The Dark Knight Rises game coming out at the same time and they are of equal quality. I would still never touch the TDKR game because it would just be a rehash of the movie.

I'll never understand how anyone who isn't a child can get excited about a movie game.

Nothing against RS, but if rocksteady would've added some BB & TDK skins to all the others that I could have done without then yea, I'd feel the same way. I'd be a happy camper.

Then you're not a very understanding person. :oldrazz:
I'm not playing this becuase its a movie game, I could care less if it followed the movie at all. I just want to play as Nolans Batman, wearing the TDK suit, in a Nolanverse Gotham. That's all.

It's called taste, preference and to each their own. Because you dont value something doesnt mean it doesn't hold any value for someone else :cwink:

For those who are opposed, it's simple really. Just dont play it. The End.

In a sense, I kinda understand where you're coming from, but at the same time, it's a mobile game, wouldn't cost nothing more than prolly 6 bucks. Hell, if anything its a Batman game for when you're on the go

I'm not opposed to a game that comprises Nolan's trilogy, in the future. In the same vein of Path of Neo.
This way, they don't need to rush anything. I won't miss it, though.

Like I said, Path of Neo would be the best way to go to include all 3 movies into one game. It was very a cool game at the time, I had tons of fun and can you believe I still own that game and the original Xbox?? lol

Playing through all three movies on a PS3/360 would be fun I think. I get all the hate for 'movie games' and I doubt they would make one for TDKR with the quality of XMO:Wolverine. But there's always hope.:batty:

If anyone get this game for their iPad, please give some feed back on it! I'm def getting this. It's as close to a Nolan TDK/TDKR game as I'll ever get sadly...

The movie is on theaters today!!! I cant wait to see it. The trailer is awesome!! I wonder if batman is going to die in this part. Cause I heard thats what happens in the comic book. Also, the team in the movie is great. Cotillard, Hathaway, Bale(he got old huh), freeman, Gordon-Levitt ( I was certainly expecting him to be in the movie, finally), Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman, Aiden Gillen...awwww! I cant wait...

So i downloaded the game for my phone, it's not bad at all, took alot of elements from the Arkham games, one those games to have when you're on the go, voice acting is pretty good as well, except for Lucius Fox, he sounds funny. The combat is suprisingly like AC, not as robust to the point where you'll be taking on hordes of enemies, but good for mobile standards I guess.

I easily took on a pack of 7 guys once, it's just all about using the avoid/jump buttnos right. It can get frustrating.

I refuse to play past "the pit" level in fear of spoilers. Voice acting is SURPRISINGLY better than Spider-Man. Anyone that's seen the film, please tell me if there are MAJOR spoilers.

^Nope.

This game is pretty good. I played past the part I stopped at after I saw the movie and it's definitely gotten better. Haven't rode the Bat or Tumbler yet but hope those come up soon. Driving mechanics for the Bat-Pod weren't so great. Combat is somewhat too easy...

The voice actor for Blake sucks, but all the rest seem pretty good. I wish the storyline was more stricter to the movie as they add weird plotlines to it but overall it's pretty good. Let's just hope the ending doesn't suck...

Yes for the Bat but Tumbler isn't in the game.

^Seriously? Damn, the trailer is misleading then. Bat-Pod is fine, then.
