I'm on a noir / googie / retro modern kick right now, real "World of Tomorrow" type vibes going on. This is a rare chance for me to show off a costume concept I had floating around the brain.

I wanted to go for a modern redesign that integrated elements from his previous incarnations without retaining the corny-ness of old.

What we have here is Batman with a modern body suit similar to what he has in the comics: his utility belt, however, is more streamlined and designed to house a variety of objects, all buckled together in the Adam West-style. His cowl is designed to look like his original incarnation with the ears that slope up and inwards. Likewise, his logo is similar to that used on the TV show Batmobile and the inside lining of his cape reflects this as well: a subdued, dark crimson color in a cape design that is more reminiscent of Bela Legosi than anything we've seen so far.

Ive always loved Batman with the red. Ive always loved the batmobile with the red trim as well.

Interesting love the upper body portion. I would keep red off the crotch maybe curve back to the outside kind of like his arms.

i did a better version of that batman beyond i posted earlier . i call it batman: last knight and a middel aged terry has to work with GL to save the world from a senile bizzaro who due to his mutated kryptonian genetics ages slower in body than mind and like a owner putting down his dog after it bites somebody bizzaro has to die

anyway his arm blades grow longer when he fighting. and becomes the frame for his gliding wings



just a green lantern design made it a little more future-y also when he goes lantern his hair slicks back and the mask is just a little energy shield not much thought maybe he could see better, felt maybe this could fit into the batman beyond timeline

All of these designs are fantastic, but this really stands out. This design is simply superb. Feasible science attached to science fiction always makes for an interesting concept - but this is above and beyond - sleek in design, practical in application.

yeah. thats cool. i noticed the stretched lantern. I just thought the classic logo in the center of his chest would be a nice touch.

i really like that batman design except I Terry not naturally a huge guy, so his build wouldn't be so wide.

anyway do you dudes like the glass shield for batmans face. in the show it was like a second skin on his face and i just wanted to make it something practical. plus terry is bigger because he's supposed to be 35-40. i wanted to make him really depressed because he feels without bruce hes lost
