The DC characters REDESIGN thread

I like the design, but like someone else said she does look kind of old. Just some constructive criticism here, don't take it like I'm being a jerk, just trying to help, but I think maybe if you got rid of the lines around her chin and on the cheeks that might help make her look younger. I have a problem with this sometimes too, but if you try to draw in eyelashes sometimes it ends up looking like wrinkles around the eyes too. Other than that I'd say just work on proportions a little more. I think you can make her shoulders a little wider to make them fit better with the size of her head, just not too wide to make her look like a dude with a dress on. If you make the shoulders wider, leave the ribs about the same. Maybe a little narrower at the bottom even. Right now she looks a little anorexic since her ribs stick out farther than her breasts, and I mean we are talking about Wonder Woman here, she's got curves on her, so if you even that out and give her some hips you're good. Keep workin' on it, it's hard drawing women, you'll get there.

i'm working on a cybertronian green lantern. saw a quick photoshop on da and had a cool idea

this is my batman punchline saga where he is killed by joker and he pulls a "THE CROW" and comes back as a phantom with the help of deadman to waste the joker and maybe a few crooks along the way. the end of his scythe is a birds head, also that supposed to be a soul and not smoke coming out of the lantern

i did another pic of him for my cousin thats alot more detailed and a little better looking. all bloody and **** i'll try and get a scan of it, the other pic took me like 6 hours to finish lots of small details plus in the other pic his cape is dark gray and black

No worries. I have a hard time drawing female characters too. I've always drawed those muscular male heroes. I know exactly what you mean. When I try to draw females, they usually end up looking like transvestites.

ah ok, well i recently re-read BATMAN: GOTHAM COUNTY LINE and i was inspired to say the least. its where he gets caought up in curses and paranormal stuff. he works with deadman in it so thats what gave me the idea

Thanks. Yeah, I love those kind of flight jackets. Captain Marvel originally wore something like that. I always liked it better than what he currently wears. Noir and steampunk are the best!

I like this actually. The right arm(the one on the left) looks bigger than the other which it shouldn't since it looks farther away. Other than that I dig it especially the bat symbol.

I was mate, but as you mentioned my WW looks too old, so gonna have to review my idea for a Smallvilled WW and work more on it in the near future...

Do you mind constructive criticism Camp Blood? I'm not trying to be rude but his midsection is rather wide where as his head is rather small. Also, his arms are kind of short for the size he is. Once again I'm not trying to be rude, sorry if I come across that way.
