Has anybody here seen the fanfilm, "The Death of Batman"?

I have a quick question:

In the film, Batman has been held captive for weeks. How did he go to the bathroom?

Also, when he gets tasered, why didn't his suit protect him?

I've come to the conlusion that you ask silly silly questions.

I didn't like this film at all.

Wait...

He was raped?

some fan films should just remain fan fantasies... seriously.

Hahahaha. Just skipped through it. I cried at the "end scene" though :woot:

I thought you were joking, but it's actually true. It's around the 12:10 mark in the youtube video. I'm f'n speechless at the lengths some fans take this fantasy crap.

Did anyone else have problems watching this thing on YouTube? It kept stopping for me. I had to manually make it progress.

I kept getting sick. I had to maually turn it off :cwink:
I kept feeling sick too- because everything in that film was horrible: the script, the acting, the plot. Everything. I didn't even get to the rape part. It was also so goddamn boring.

Personally I liked the way it was done (amateur acting, costume, fighting etc. all were fine by fanfilm standards). The first scenes with Batman talking and then chasing and fighting the guy were fine (for what the film is supposed to be, ok?). What really sucked was the 'story"/concept of the whole thing. Batman captured, having a drug shot etc? If this fan-film had the same "production values" to support a more proper fanfic, it would be fine.

I wonder, the "drug addict" from the Death of Batman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUAXIMoZuBM

and the "Joker" from this well-known Interrogation spoof

seem to be played by the same guy. They look a bit alike (same curly hair, similar voice etc.)

I agree. The production of the film was okay in terms of fan-film standards (lighting, camera angles, etc.), but the storyline just doesn't live up to the legend of Batman. I mean, wouldn't Batman's rubber suit protect him from the taser? Also, Batman is one of the greatest martial arts fighter in the world and the scene where he gets taken down by some punk is completely ridiculous. Basically the idea of Batman dying is a good one but it depends on how it is executed. The fanfilm "The Death of Batman" fails to live up to its title.

I guess Batman R.I.P. pretty much makes this film impossible. Now we know that when Batman is drugged, he becomes the Batman of Zur-En-Arrh and raises all sorts of multi-colored hell.

I remember seeing this years ago. The acting is pretty bad and what's up with all the Batman one liners at the beginning?
