They should all just go round bare chested with a tattoo on their chests. Matt can finally have the DD logo there, Cage can have LC to remind himself of his name, and Jessica can either have one J on each breast or just the pink jewel symbol in between them.

Even if Iron Fist is crappy, I doubt it will hurt Defenders too much. Remember, Netflix doesn't care about short term the same way movies and broadcast TV do. A poor quality Iron Fist might have fewer people jumping to binge Defenders, but as long as Defenders eventually does get the audience its quality warrants, Netflix will be happy. They don't make extra money from people watching release day.

The main worry is that if Danny Rand is *also* crappy on Defenders, because this would drag down the actual quality of the show. *That* would lower its value long term.

Defenders is not being handled by the same showrunners/writers as Iron Fist, it's the showrunner from DDs2 (who was also a writer on DDs1). Also, Drew Goddard is said to be actively involved as Exec Producer.

What Cox said at a convention before he even started filming means nothing to me. A lot of people said Iron Fist would get his costume this season, and he's not.

And some have even stretched it suggest that what we see Iron Fist wearing in season 1 is already some kind of "costume" even though deep down we know it's not.

There's really no evidence other than a vague quote by Charlie Cox at a convention a while ago. Well before filming even had started.

People have suggested that when he wears a green (denim?) jacket and has a bandana, that this is the costume he effectively gets by the season end, and that we should be content with this for season 1.

Danny just needs a shirt, they live in freakin NY where it gets really cold. Other than that I am fine with his look.

I still plan to binge watch it, I like the Marvel Netflix series but I don't love them. I have been 1 and done with all of them.

Well its only a mini series so not the full season we are use too. I say first Friday of August.

Eh, be fair, I could buy "no shirt" as potentially an actual character point, both in connection to his training in frigid mountain monasteries, and his kung fu super powers. Just have other characters comment on how he forgets to wear a shirt, and him just shrugging and going "Doesn't really feel cold to me".

I wouldn't get my hopes up given that they lampshaded the whole thing in Luke Cage. I doubt they'd go that far, pull out the rug, and then try to shove the rug back under.

The way it got lampshaded in Luke Cage made me expect they are going to avoid it entirely. But I guess we shall see.
