from what I read of it it's just the actors telling the same thing they have to other out lets where their characters are in this stage of this series. I haven't seen anything spilt. but there's an interesting poke jokes thing between Mike Coulter and finn Jones over Luke banging every woman and how finn doesn't want luke to do to that with colleen wing too. cause apparently luke in the comic 's did her too. and Mike pokeing at finn yeah that was the fun and big part of it. About if iron and Misty would ever get together and how if that part ever came that she slept with luke. and if marvel would ever go thereor add it into the net flix series.

it's that Luke got around too much. lol oy. I'm gonna read see what else was said with jessica matt.

Honestly, a part of me is still in shock that...

The Punisher is even showing up in this series. I didn't think that he would make a cameo at all.

I really hope that whatever his involvement is in this show that we get to see him do more against the Hand than what he did at the end of Daredevil Season 2.

I really want to see him use that machine gun of his to take on the group (the Hand)

Anyone know what the UK release date is for this? Is it the same everywhere? Thanks.

There's a lot to be said that 8 episodes in a shared series with 3 others will gain more likability for Danny Rand/Iron Fist than in 13 episodes of his very own series.

Btw I hope the Punisher's role in this series is as small as possible. He has his very own series due out in November.

It launches globally on the same date, August 18th.

Now, as for the *time* that it drops, I believe they always release the shows at like 12:01AM Pacific time on that day (so you'll need to do time conversion (handy link for anyone that might need help on that: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20170818T070100&p1=137 - just click on the blue box that says "add another city or time zone" to put your area and voila) to find out what time that'll be for where you live)

I AM EXCITED!

was reading some pages of the topic and suddenly saw this gif, lol. Priceless :awesome:

Finn Jones is just.... :applaud

I would think pretty much the same. If not, no more than a week or 2.

Thanks a lot

can anyone confirm if the 8 episodes are around 55-60 minutes each? I'd hate if we have a few 45-49 min episodes.

I haven't seen any information anywhere about this. I don't know if TheVileOne would give out an average runtime for the episodes he saw either.

One thing is for sure, the Defenders will probably leave me more confused as to where in the MCU timeline this all takes place. If I had to guess, anything from DD Season Two to Defenders Season One takes place in the time frame after Sokovia but before Civil War, at least before the Incident in Lagos with Crossbones.

I get the need for a fan to want to know exactly when things take place in context with other things but I feel like it's not that necessary with the Netflix shows. They are in the same universe but don't rely on the other things as much as the movies do.

I wouldn't worry about since he's a lone wolf here and they said he more then the others doesn't do teams for now. but if there's sequel ....

I doubt the rest of them would even want him working with them. I don't think you can use The Punisher and the team together unless it's in the most dire of circumstances. They're not going to stand for him just murdering people left, right and centre.

I have a feeling most of the hench men will be dead regardless. if you mean the complete no mercy thing where one surrenders and he's there and they all see it and he still wastes that villain cold blooded ly then yeah. or the henchmen are unarmed and unable to fight.

But truth be told since they sorta know most of their face's and costumes are involved for most of it for the heroes eta. I think had on the villain's side where hired help is involved will end up dead some how. it's the only way it'll make sense end wise with those hench not coming after them and more importantly people close to still since that hurt them mo

Mind you for Jessica and Luke it won't matter. Danny and Matt on the other hand... but I don't think it'll be them doing the heavy handed killing to the hench or hired villain help un less forced.

I feel like Frank is going to be out of commission for The Defenders. Especially after what Deadline posted about from the pilot episode.

I'm actually starting to think Deadline might have gotten confused about that. I haven't heard anyone else mention it and you'd think people who saw it would have freaked out about it on Twitter.

I just want as small a role as possible. This series is for our 4 heroes, though of course Marvel will try to promote his new show.

Even though I get that the likes of Luke and Jessica can do just fine without costumes, it's so weird at times on how their established getup is like the ONLY thing they seem to wear at all times. It's like they don't own any spare clothes.lol

It's not like any of them are fashionistas. Look at Elektra, she had many looks because it fit the character. Jessica had a few looks but they all are similar as the character doesn't really care about that. Same goes for Luke.

Also, the miniseries will take place over a very small amount of time, which can explain why you haven't seen more looks.

It seems better for Jessica since she can pull off the "I'm so hungover that I'm still in the clothes I slept in" look.
