Well, I was excited until I saw that extra buck for Secret Warriors but oh well. I've really enjoyed the book and with issue 28 being the final issue it's all building to a head. It's here that we learn the secret history of Hydra, Shield, Leviathan, and the Zodiac. Heroes for Hire has my full attention now that Iron Fist is prominantly in it and dealing with the phantom pregnancy. And I'm excited to see what this whole War of the Green Lanterns is about and I think it starts with this issue of Green Lantern.

As for the two maybes, it's due to it being a small week. They're two book that I'm dropping but am not completely sold on dropping because of the potential. I'm behind an issue of X-Factor and this next arc does sound promising so I may get both issues and keep up with the book just on small weeks until Secret Warriors and Echo ends in a few months to save up some money to buy it regularly. Avengers Academy I'm not sure if I'm willing to do that yet but we'll see.

Green Wake. It's suppose to be a Twin Peaks-ish mystery story, and the guy who did/does Proof is on art.

He started a thread for it over at CBR, looks pretty neat. I think it's from that Shadowline imprint/sub-imprint (whatever it is):

Looks like I'll be picking it up. I think describing something like Twin Peaks makes it an instant buy for me. Poor Deadly Premonition, sitting there collecting dust.

A small week to kick off the month, and a week that is also all $2.99. I am liking that more and more! To think we would look back at prices from 2006 and see them as refreshing. Back then some of us were still miffed at the price jump from $2.50.

All great books, honestly. BATMAN BEYOND is the one I like least of the bunch and even that has been very satisfying entertainment - and better than the mini that launched it so far.
