Yeah, all things aside, it was a great ending, though I will admit, Welling was showing his modeling experience there wen he opened to door to the roof.

ya the end shirt rip was nice. did i want a full body shot of welling in the suit yes. But i am ultimately not pissed. The show was always about clark's journey into becoming superman. So we did get to see those few shots of superman in action.

I was listening to the radio just recently and three songs came on in a row that played on Smallville...and it just made me think just how consistantly fantastic and apt the music on Smallville was.

It all started with "Everything" by Lifehouse that played at the end of the pilot. It was fitting and wonderful and introduced us to the feelings that Clark had for Lana.

And all through the show, the music was consistantly one of the best aspects of the show. It just made many of the scenes much more powerful feeling.

Totally agree man alot of the copyrighted music the show used totally fit said scenes they with along with.

Never really liked the pop music played on the show. Most of it, including the opening theme, was by artists who arent even around any more. That has the effect of dating certain episodes to me when the rest of the show has a timeless feel to it when it's just accompanied by an instrumental score. .

Supernatural uses another approach which I really like and that's using classic rock n' roll in all of their episodes (Kansas, Zeppelin, CCR, etc.). You get a timeless feel to it, since those songs are classics and not stuff from one hit wonders like SR-71, All American Rejects, James Carrington, etc.

To be fair, and I don't even like them, The All America Rejects can't be considered a one hit wonder, as they've had several songs on the radio and hit the top ten.

But I digress...I get your point.

I like a lot of the song because I've either never heard them before, or they remind me of certain episodes. I have a playlist with about 138 songs on my iTunes titled "Smallville" with just songs that were either played on the show or used in promos.

I think the one spoiler I will never forget leaking was way back in 2003. Kryptonsite had just posted a rumor that said something like, "When Clark returns from the void in the cave, he comes back acting almost like he's on red Kryptonite...but he can fly now."

I flipped haha.

It's been fun though. I never made a username until around season nine, but I've religiously lurked on this specific board since around season three so I'm sad to see all of us go.

I think the first time I saw the spoilers on Kryptonsite was the summer between season 1 and 2. The first season I was 100% spoiler-free. After that I couldn't help myself after I discovered Kryptonsite.

I think I started lurking here around the end of '02 beginning '03. The only reason I joined was to ask why there was such a division between SV & Superman Returns. I think my first post was why the two couldn't coexist. Imma miss this place.

I first came across ksite around middle of season one. There was another cool sv page I went to also during season one. That I can't recall what it was called. And then it disapeared around season 2.

it's been a pleasure ladies and gentlemen... i will miss this part of the board. i still miss smallville to this day. i do know ksite isn't doing very well either anymore, i don't see it being around for long.

I was a lurker for a few years, mostly for news on Spider-Man 2 and 3, but I joined in 2008 just for Smallville. Even though I've managed to come across a few other threads in the Community and Video Game sections, I'm really going to miss my time spent here on the SV forums and looking forward to all of the silly rumors and shocking truths. These past few years have truly been a blast.

I don't see why ksite will be gone. Not much will probably go on the sv section. But he also has general news page and side sites for other shows. Craig will probably be fine.

Even though I came to the Smallville forums really late in the game, I have made a few acquaintances. I am grateful of the short time that I got to spend with you guys. I am, first and foremost, a Superman fan and will be following the production of 'Man of Steel' quite closely, so I'm sure that I will see most of you guys (Prison Mike,Webhead, SpideyVille and fixxxer1022 to name a few) around in those forums. Even though I probably won't post as much as I did when I was in the Smallville forums, "I'm always around" t:

P.S. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the reviews of Triplet. Also, even though I never really had any discussions with 'The Incredible Hulk' and 'Braniac 8', and quite a few others, I enjoyed reading their posts. I wish that I could have joined the forum much earlier than I did, but there's nothing I can do about that now.
