I think the Expendables films are cool and I definitely enjoy them (LOVE EX2) but I gotta say that this expanding lineup is starting to borderline on overkill...

The Expendables is not kooky. If anything that interview got it backwards. He wants to do more kooky stuff and less straight acting. This is what the man is known for.

i get him. but Expendables happens only one time in your life. this is the only time to be with those action stars in a stupid movie with one liners and over the top action scenes. you make this movie for fun and as a joke.

Also the new fight choreographer is none other than JJ Perry. If you know the least bit about action movies, you should be very excited.

Hopefully Sly is a bit more hands on this time. It turns out Expendables 2 was butchered by Avi Lerner in the editing room. I.E. he cut out JCVD's offense in the end fight, totally butchered an action scene with Dolph, cut out lots of Crews and Couture time.

Good, maybe we'll get Nan Yu back this time. She didn't have much to do in EX2, but she was a breath of fresh air IMO. Having Milla Jovovich would be cool, but add to the overkill factor.

Which is kind of amazing considering what a colossal joke and waste of time EX2 was.

That's what makes EX2 a blast to watch. It's so overblown and cartoonish it devolves in self-parody, and the cast knows that from the outset.

I thought 2 was so much better than 1. At least it was fun to watch. 1 was one of the most boring actions movies I've ever seen.

Frankly I was looking forward to seeing her in something other than another ****** RE film but 1) alas and 2) whatever. Boycotting over it seems... extreme.
