i am watching expendable movies for old known action stars and their interaction. everyone needs to get the right dialoge for what he was known.

''my shoe is bigger than this car''

i understand that the whole movie is bad. but if the same scenes would be realesed as a parody on youtube everyone would like it.

I think the first one had a better story, which isn't saying much, but the second one was much more fun to watch.

Frankly I was looking forward to seeing her in something other than another ****** RE film but 1) alas and 2) whatever. Boycotting over it seems... extreme.

There is a difference between boycotting and simply not caring enough to see the movie in theater or buy it on blu-ray and instead wait for it to end up on hbo or some other premium channel.

By the way, she does a lot of other movies besides Resident Evil so I'm not entirely sure what it is you're waiting on.

I too am getting really excited about this film. I'm amazed they got Harrison Ford, but his salary requests may have gone down in recent years.

My advice to Sly though, Bruce Willis may be a complete ****head, I have no idea, I don't know him personally, but keep it classy Sly. Best just to say, "we could not come to terms," and move on.

Also, with Mel Gibson as the bad guy, could this possibly re-jumpstart his career? I would love to see a bat**** crazy Mel trying to reek havoc!

I think Mel's career is as over as far as acting outside of smaller supporting roles. As the villain in this he's probably going to hit his high mark post meltdown. Besides the infamy, he's also more active behind the camera these days as a director and producer, plus getting older and less active in his roles despite being younger than some of the actors who are still very much active in their careers.

Banderas has been linked ever since Expendables 2, so his name isn't a surprise.

He (Banderas) said about not being in Expendables 2:

"They asked me to do it, I don't think at this point I will have the time. I am very disappointed that it didn't work out. But you never know I will have to talk to Sly."

He apparently has the time now.

Jack Burton should be their getaway driver.

Have him driving a truck name "Pork Chop Express" to do a team drop would be awesome.

It's too bad Cage isn't in this one. I would imagine if they were able to get him and Travolta where they both have scars on their faces. Whoever is the villain can pull out a knife and say "I came to finish what I started."

This movie writes itself.

Personally, I would go for James Woods over Nic Cage.

That's ironic considering that virtually every major actor is someone who isn't young by any stretch and was the entire point. They're old guys doing this job who have been doing it for decades.

I didn't hate Hemsworth in 2 but I agree it's pointless to include younger somewhat unknown actors in these films.

Oh, I think he's the guy Bane manhandles during the stock exchange scene in TDKR.

You know, since SpilledInnards brought up Bane, I bet he wouldn't ever do it, but I would definitely love Tom Hardy to show up as a "younger" guy, or maybe the main villain or something in part 4. Between Dark Knight Rises, Warrior, and Bronson, I think we could all buy him as a badass going up against these guys.
