How's Nell doing?

I'd reply, but I'm bust oogling

What is your thesis on Speedball?

French and Indian War Frontier Forts.
I'm using archaeology, GPS data, and Remote Sensing to find them and document them.
I'm not talking about the huge forts, but the house forts that were used as refuges when the area was attacked.

Sounds really interesting man.

And yes, I'm being serious.

It's like you're a history detective!

A little less serious, but still serious.

HAHA!
thanks guys!
It's been a long semester, and it's nice to finally have something to show for my work.
The thing just has so much damned text. I'm afraid people are going to go "too many words, not reading it, bye!!!"

Are you currently working as an archaeologist? Or interning? I know I've seen a couple different pictures of you 'in the field'.

There's just such a focus on Civil War archaeology in my area, that it's literally beat into my head. I wanted to do something a little different. I've always had an interest in pre-revolution and Revolutionary war history, so I decided to focus on the French and Indian War. Not that many people ACTUALLY know anything about the war, just that it happened and Washington was involved.

Was anything done today in your area because of the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War?

I work as one for the archaeology lab on campus. I can't wait for the summer. I'm good friends with all the people I work with. We call ourselves Team Rawrflag. LOL!
I'll be making bank this summer, because all I'll be doing is working.:awesome:

I'm happy for you man. What is your actual major?

That's all I was taught. :csad: And something to do with the French... and... Indians.

It was Archaeology, which I got my BS in that in 2009.
I'm getting another BS in Geographic Sciences with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems in May (hopefully).

Two Bachelor's? That sounds like a lot of work...and money. What do you ultimately hope to do with your degrees?

I want to continue doing archaeology, and use GIS with it. GIS is a good skill to have for archaeology.

Not to sound like a money hound but would you eventually (sooner than later) make all the money spent in school back plus more. Like within a year or two?

That's only if you don't have any student loans, which I don't.
I only have about $2000 dollars of debt in credit cards, which isn't really all that much when you think about it. When I'm making my own money, I can see me easily paying that off.

Very nice.

Its good that you didn't become a debt slave.

So it mostly got paid via scholarships and grants? If so congrats man on that alone.
