I have a feeling that the Verbal section on the GRE is going to kick my ass. :csad:

You're all completely nuts. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only sane one here.

Such a pretty photo of Famke.

What is up with Marvel these days. The art in the few books I've flicked through is terrible. They have the Fantastic Four/Spider-Man in dodgy white uniforms. And their big event of the summer is about a character I've never even heard of.

Never before have I been so interested in what DC has going on, and the main reason for that is because Marvel just isn't sparking my interest.

I have been thinking for a few years though that I'm more and more looking at Image and some little indie comics other than the big hitters.

I like the Fantastic Fwee's new white uniforms. :csad:

Ah, I see that those of us who have rather unfortunate lives sill get categorized under the very high school-ish label "emo" at one mention of a negative emotion, regardless of what we may actually be going through.

Now if I were 16 and couldn't get my nose pierced then came online, posted tons of poorly-photoshopped pictures of my "edgy," dyed, black hair and whined uncontrollably about how my life is a empty, black abyss, you could call me "emo."

A lot of people have unfortunate lives or go through periods of hard times....but not all of them spend most of thier time complaining about them on the internet. That might be why some label others as emo.

I took the long cover with all 4 of the new white uniforms and made it a negative image. It looks better White on Black than Black on White. Also I saw a future villian, Blue Thing (It's only a matter of time).

I only ever complain about the petty stuff online while bottling up the harsh stuff. Nobody wants to see me depressurbate all over the internet.

I will admit that I like Spider-Man's costume better in reverse, but then I'm used to seeing Spidey in black. I still like the FF's white uniforms.

Also, I really liked Epting's interior art in #1.

i tried inverting them...actually made it worse. the logos are cool, but the design itself kinda sucks

But people wear black when they mourn the death of a friend or Comrade so the negative image makes them look like they are mourning.

Well, Sue said their uniforms are capable of switching the black & white color scheme around to their desire, so maybe artists will play around with it in the future.

then give them black arm bands. they're terrible designs

Yeah when she turned up on the roof in the black I thought that looked a lot better. Also why change Spider-Man's colours so drastically? It just reminds me too much of when Tony made the Iron-Spider suit.

So the girlfriend wants to know what blockbusters are coming out this year and apparently super hero movies don't count. Suddenly I'm drawing blank for answers.

All I can think of are Harry Potter and Super 8 (maybe).

Can't believe I didn't get to see Scream 4 today, but instead got stuck watching Saw 3D.

eh, they are about even in my book. Both films are just there to milk the franchise.

I disagree. The Scream series has been consistently entertaining and the remake angle of the new movie works with both the franchise and the amount of time that has passed since the first one. The Saw series didn't even last through the first movie in entertainment value.

Yeah, but that is subjective. [/scapegoat]

I liked the first Saw, some of the sequels were ok, but the ''final'' sucked hard. I love Scream, and the sequels were entertaining.

Thank you Ferret. Kane is just pissed Scream doesn't have Ghostface riding around on a special effects spaceship or a lightcycle. :o
