Is this So Cal Val? She's still looking great. Either way, I like em with meat on their bones and to look healthy and curvy.

Punk's strategy here is kind of smart long-term if you think about it.

Look at it like this, if Punk ever goes back to WWE, he will probably get a sweet Lesnar or Batista or Undertaker deal. He can work part time and get marquee bouts and lots of attention.

- Rihan of the Road to WrestleMania 30 blog in the UK attended Sting's Q&A show at Camden Highlight Club in London last night. He noted that Sting got a great ovation and was very tight lipped about his future but it appeared that he's signed with WWE based on some answers that were given. A playlist from the Q&A is above and Rihan passed along these highlights:

* He want to face The Undertaker in his last match. He's not interested in fighting other opponents in WWE or independent promotions

* He was on YouTube doing research by watching the Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels match

* Hasn't watched the TNA product since he left, but has been purposefully (his exact words) watching RAW for the past few weeks

Other highlights:

* Mentioned his three favorite matches were vs. Flair for 45 minutes at Clash Of Champions 88, his first World Title victory and Starrcade 97 vs. Hulk Hogan

* Mentioned he disliked working with Vampiro in WCW & he wasn't fond of working with Robocop

* Mentioned he didn't feel that Hogan took his spot when he joined WCW

* Rated Shawn Michaels & Kurt Angle as top two wrestlers

* Credited Scott Hall for giving him the idea behind the Crow look

* Responsible for Goldberg joining WCW as he used Lex Luger & Sting's Atlanta gym

* Disappointed about not having a proper feud with Bret Hart in WCW

* Sting couldn't remember who the Dangerous Alliance were and doesn't follow the product so was unable to mention a favorite match not involving him

:wow:

Does anymore miss those promos where the guy is alone standing in front of a background that was usually customized with the superstar's logo?

Don't know if I miss those in particular, but doing the promos in front of a generic backdrop set up randomly backstage needs to be changed. Or the random encounters. Just... change it up somehow.

Still better than what TNA does with the fly on the wall multi camera angle stuff. At least they dropped the voiceovers.

To me there is something special about the wrestler(s) being alone and talking to the camera. I like that the Wyatts and Shield have done that.

That's fine. And I agree, it works, but they don't need a gimmicky logo behind them. We know who they are. If they did more of that, where a wrestler just monologues into a camera while walking backstage to the ring ready to kick someones ass, that would work wonders for me.

I miss when they used to have short promos while the wrestlers would walk towards the ring.

got annoyed with impact again, got really bored with all the disqualification finishes, i think only 2 matches ended decisively

not to mention the absolutely headscratching face turn for bully ray

@NDX: I like that idea. You know a lot of Miick Foley's best promos were monologues come to think of it.

ECW had that work well for them, where they just talked. Some people need certain settings for their promos. Foley was best with a camera in his face, feeling claustrophobic, frightening and intimidating, as Foley, when Cactus Jack and early Mankind, was. Same with Bray Wyatt/Wyatts Family. Hogan worked best off of other people. Someone he could bounce back and forth of, whether it was Mean Gene or Macho Man or the Rock. He needs someone to allow him to go off. Raven worked well whether he was alone or in front of the crowd. I think Cena does the same, but he's better off working with, or against, the crowd. Even with his "Oh golly gee whiz shucks" promos.

It all depends on character. If Rusev starts talking, he needs to keep it simple, close to the camera, and backstage. No in ring BS, keep it intimidating.

Completely agree with that. Bryan needs the crowd for his promos whereas someone like Ambrose should talk into the camera. It all depends on the guy.

"At Wrestlemania, I will bury Daniel Bryan!" - Triple H on Smackdown.

I'm surprised no one's made a fuss over that line.

AJ made a point as well: after she cut that promo last year, the Divas started improving.

I still have a nagging feeling that this is an elaborate work.

I commented that Triple H's promo was good, I meant that including the buried line as I think was another example of Triple H being influenced by the net, this whole angle has become him and Steph playing up to how they are perceived by the IWC and the line was designed to elicit the reaction.

AJ was right for sure, even road beef bella has improved.

I don't know if it started as a work but that crossed my mind last night. I mean Punk can't work anywhere until the end of July at the earliest, so if he is openly courting UFC Vince can basically sue him and even if he doesn't Punk is nuking his WWE bridge.

If it is, it'll be the best one ever. Though with the abrupt shifts in the storylines going into Mania, it's hard to think it's a work.

Very true. Whereas Vince ignored the internet, Triple H is using it to their advantage, and it gives both him and Bryan more heat. You can almost say it's Triple H vs the IWC at Wrestlemania this year.

And yep, both Bellas have improved. Even Cameron, despite her cruddy in-ring work, has a nice DDT finish.

Agreed, in Enzo's absence he has grown as a character but his ring work needs a lot of polish, and I'd definitely keep them together and have them work as a team for the rest of this year.

Enzo needs to manage someone as he is very entertaining on the mic. Enzo could probably get Ryder back over if he was paired with him.

- It’s said that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal for WrestleMania XXX may end up on the pre-show, which seems like a waste for a match that was announced by Hulk Hogan and features several top WWE Superstars.

- The “Occupy RAW” angle with Daniel Bryan last week was done to troll the fans who claimed they were hijacking RAW in Chicago the week before. Some of Stephanie McMahon’s lines in the segment about disrespecting her family and how she owns Bryan were said to be more or less how she feels about CM Punk right now.

- We noted several weeks back that there was a plan in place for The Miz and Dolph Ziggler to form a new “disgruntled” tag team. Now there’s an idea for Zack Ryder to be thrown into the mix.

They need a fourth member to the "disgruntled stable" Kofi maybe?

Dolph Ziggler would be wasted in such a stable, unless he was the leader (with the Miz on board, that is in doubt).

Rather have the stable be made up of Miz, Ryder and Tyson Kidd.

The Sting comments are very interesting.....

As for Triple H vs. Bryan, I am 100% certain that Bryan wins.

Ziggler
Miz
Ryder
and Wade Barrett.

Lets face it besides the BNB segements WWE really don't know what to do with the guy. The guy was better when he was in Nexus and the Coore.

I think if it was a Heel stable it would be very interesting with those for

but I think Ziggler deserves a lot more.

Ziggler's App exclusive promo before the ADR match on Smackdown: http://t.co/SY5nrv37LN

This is good but atleast he got to cut a solid promo after his match on Smackdown.
