I have no problem with the cast personally.........except Teller and I couldn't tell you why I don't like the guy. He just looks like a tattle tell. "Teacher! That guy didn't do his homework on his own. He's asking Becky for answers yet again!" But they are just bad for the parts and this movie isn't a F4 movie. It's Chronicle 2.

:loco:

That's exactly what they're counting on and how they'll try to make up the numbers at the box office. Come and see how bad this movie is! Don't judge a movie by its cover, even though it looks and smells like a turd already, etc.

Why do you think MBJ said:

MBJ-2_zpsnpbk2gov.gif
Like someone said, don't judge a book by his cover, but the cover usually has good information on the content of the book.

I find it exceptionally odd that, for a cast that is being touted as talented, we haven't seen anyone stringing two sentences together.

If they're good actors, why isn't Fox showing any of them actually acting?

With the exception of the one very brief clip of Sue crying, have we seen any actual emotion? Nearly everything we've seen is deadpan, void of emotion and lifeless.

Well FOX has just be stupid with their marketing general. Not just with this.

Teller will definitely go places. I hope MBJ does to. He just needs to make better choices. I'll eat my words but I don't think Creed is that good of a move.

Nada. It's like they don't want these guys to talk because they may actually say how horrible the film is. Remember Mara's interview before they started to film and how she was told not to bother to even read a F4 comic because "it wasn't necessary" at that time? Can you imagine if she said that now with this movie set to be released soon? It will kill any momentum this thing had going for it.

What?! Creed looks good. Didn't you support this movie in the beginning?

I never supported this since MBJ was cast. I think there are very few good ideas, but very poor execution. I hope Im provenwong but I doubt it.

I remember you thought I did just because I didn't jump on the "Trank is sexually harassing Mara" train. I remember bcause I thought you were being really silly.

You sure that was me? I don't think I've really talked about it that much because of everything else wrong with the film. LOL! So much wrong with this film that I completely forgot about that rumor.

pretty sure.

a good number of members were on some bulls*** about that harassment rumor.

Not everything about the dissent has been kosher. I get not looking forward to this film, I'm not either, but I thought that "rumor" was particularly nasty and sounded made up so I haven't really addressed it until now.

Well a lot of those "rumors" seem to have more evidence coming out that they were not just rumors after all. I doubt Mara will ever admit she was sexually harassed by Trank because if she did, she'd be done in Hollywood. They don't call it he director's couch for nothing and I'm sure a lot of people have done things for roles in movies that they shouldn't have gotten. See Kristen Stewart. She can't act to save a hooker's life and I never understood how she got her roles but then when news came out about her and that director, it all made perfect sense.

My misspelling is super confusing to you why?

Also it's your opinion that Stewart can't act. She got the Huntsman role because of her Twilight popularity, that much is obvious.

There was never a rumor about sexual harassment. It was only ever that he berated her on set and made her cry once.

Tom Hardy should have been there to put Trank in a headlock.

Are you kidding me?! She got caught with the director, that's how she got the role.

As far as your spelling, I had no idea what you were saying. Just trying to understand it.

Yeah, I've never understood where that rumour came from. He is supposed to have treated her like crap to help her "feel invisible", and that he acted like he was Hitchcock and she was Grace Kelly, but as far as I'm aware there has never been anything about an assault. I've always figured it was people hearing stuff and going overboard with the rumours.

She was hired because of her Twilight fame and then had an affair with her disgusting married director.

No I absolutely do not believe that she got that role because of the affair. I'm not saying that never happens, I'm saying that I don't think it happened in the case of Snow White. Universal wanted her because of Twilight.

Have some questions thought this good place to ask.

What is involved in Marvel getting back the rights.

Will no use of the property in 5-10 years do it?

Simple. if the film underperforms horribly

1. Fox may just sell it off to Marvel like Sony did Ghost Rider

2. Fox sits on the rights until they naturally expire.

It appears as though the FF character family is on a 7 year cycle. That is, FOX has seven years from the release date of the last feature to put a new film into production. FOX came right up against that date with FFINO. Any normal production that wasn't simply a rights grab would have shut down in light of all of the scripting and directorial problems

Though FOX continues to tease a merger of their two separate Marvel licensing agreements, my belief is that they will release the rights sometime after FFINO leaves theaters in exchange for TV rights. The studio entertainment chief has announced an X-Men spinoff show, and that requires Marvel's approval. I don't see FOX continue to cling to rights they have proven they have no idea what to do with.

If this doesn't do well Fox has a lot more to gain from negotiating an X-Men TV show deal than in keeping hold of the FF rights for another 7 to 8 years for the hell of it (or trying to merge it with the X-Men which I'd say isn't possible atm, nor desirable).

Add in the bargaining chip that an X-Men show would also profit Disney too (especially if Disney re-instated merch support for X-Men) it would seem like a no brainer.

The Mouse and the Fox might not get along, but business is business. X-Men isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future no matter what Disney does, and they know it. FF could be gotten back, and I think they know that too.

This exactly. And Disney knows getting the entire FF back would open soooo many windows down the line for more team ups, franchises, etc.

Not to mention Doom would be the perfect Loki replacement as well as Galactus would be the perfect Thanos replacement.

There a few milestones the studio has to meet.

A certain date for production to start and a certain date for the release.

If there wasn't a date certain for release----they could just shoot a movie and take 4 years to release it.
I think they had 7 years to start principal photography and 8 years for the release.
