it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my life

confetti canons, bullhorned vocals that were later submited to harmonizers, overfuzzed guitars, Beck on the turntables, celebration of life and everything else

does anybody know where can I get that clip?

It was great. I love the Flaming Lips. I don't usually bother watching any late night talk show but when I heard they were going to be on there, I made sure to tune in.

what did you think about their performance?
Leslie and I had just finished dinner and we were having some aftermeal enlightment when we tuned on Leno and there it was, he was presenting them

we were left speechless

I didn't see last night PLAS, but your description perfectly matches a performance I saw by them on Austin City Limits a couple of months ago.

Cat Power joined them for a special duet performance of "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath. Wayne smeared his face with blood and everything; it was awesome.

That was Beck? Cool. But yeah, the Lips were fantastic.
