We would have a situation pre world war 2 where every nation is in strive with each other.

maybe a little chaos is what the world needs.....its not like the UN is a force that anyone listens to....we've got genocide in various countries, political unrest worldwide....myanmar, darfur, the list goes on and the UN is doing **** all about any of it...

A little chaos in this day and age would pretty much be the destruction of the human race. I'd say the first ones at each others troath would be India and Pakistan, both have nuclear weapons. China would probably start to invade nations like Taiwan, Russia, hmmm dunno, might go against Europe and pretty much every middle eastern nation would start to go against Israel. That is certainly chaos we do NOT need. As much as the United Nations is toothless it still presents a platform for Nations to address their grievances without going at each others troaths.

And I say there would be tremendous change, It is a lame duck but it is still a body of principles if you loose even the principles you can be sure that there would be nothing left to keep nations from ripping each other apart.
