Upon a second viewing, this list has no credibility to me.
Why?
Because U2 is number 1.
There are so many overlooked bands that completely rock the balls off of more than 50% of the groups on that list.

have u ever seen a U2 concert? there incredible live, there actually better live then they are on album. its more then a concert its like a spiritual experience seeing them

electric eel shock should be on there. they put on one hell of a show.

can you scan and post what they say about the dirtbombs? im gonne be sure to bust ben's balls for this when i see him friday.

interesting list, but there were many omissions, sadly

Prince was better live than the Stooges.

No offense to the Stooges, they were awesome, but Prince was better.

I can't believe Prince was on that list and not the Rolling Stones... I know they performed here for the SARS fest a few years back... when did Prince perform last?

I saw him a few years ago on the Musicology tour.

He'll probably be coming around again for 3121.

Prince is great. Though he wouldn't count as NOW!

I just saw the Flaming Lips last Friday with Sonic Youth, and I swear it was the best live show I've ever seen. They put on an AMAZING live show.

Flaming Lips AND Sonic Youth? Lucky son of a gun. :D

I have to agree about The Flaming Lips though, definitely the most memorable live show I've been to. Did Wayne Coyne do the bubble walk? :)

yay for the Flaming Lips! Saw them a few years ago, they're awsome. I'm actually surprised that they made it to the list...

But...

Where's The Prodigy? :down

Even though they've been featured in Spin Magazine a few times, it's a sad day when The Cramps aren't listed on a "best live" act listing.

Best Live Band EVER. :word:

:yay:

Yeah, it was a f**king brilliant show. Yes, Wayne did the hamster-ball thing. It was an outdoor concert and the weather was perfect. Favorite show ever!

AFI up there looks like Orgy to me
Singer of AFI looked like a hot chick couple of months ago at a club in Hollywood when I almost hit on him:(

The only band on that list I'd want to see is U2. I've always had something going on or not been able to get tickets when they've come to town. Although, I will be seeing Aerosmith and Motley Crue in October so that'll be cool.

An omission no one's mentioned yet is Jimmi Buffett, Jimmi Buffett concerts are pure fun. I've seen him twice now and both times have just been one massive party, the tailgating is bigger than football games and you can tell he just has a great time performing in front of a large crowd. Plus he's the first and probably only person to play a concert at Wrigley Field. You want a fun, summer concert, go see Jimmi Buffett.

And even in their 60s', The Rolling Stones are the best live band in the world.

Completly agree. I saw them last year. Best show I've ever been to.

So is this not a list of the ****tiest Bands Now?

BTW: Prince owns all them other *****es.
