THE FLASH - 2016 can't get here fast enough!

i know that these big studio big budget type films aren't blomkamp's cup of tea, but going with what dianne nelson has said about catering to a filmmakers specific vision, I'd love it if he got a crack at WW flash or even green lantern even if it meant that he'd only do one of these films.

How is that any different from what they've been doing? That sounds more like an excuse to try and justify them dragging their feet and being overly cautious.

Ya I agree. She says "visions." The only visions we've seen are Christopher Nolan's and Zach Snyder's. I don't understand why WB just can't make a DC Studios like Disney did with Marvel. Just give Geoff Johns a Kevin Feige-esque role and away we go.

um they already did and Diane Nelson is that Feige-esque person…and give them a chance…they've only made one movie in this cinematic universe.

I'm not sure i understand what you're trying to get at. are you talking about dianne nelson? personally she seems more invested in sandman and fables, while mking a jl film as well.

Um no they haven't. And they are still moving incredibly slow. Add to that Nelson knows absolutely nothing about comics (unlike Feige) - she wants a Sandman movie? Really? A Sandman movie? Get the big 5 established before you go for stuff like that.

Sandman has just as much movie potential as the big 5.

while it isn't in line with what some people prefer at the moment, (flash, ww, or gl for instance) i think they can be applauded for their ingenuity. I'd be curious about all of those projects she mentioned.

Jus watched the Hunger Games Catching Fire and one actor really stood out to me. Sam Caflin I remember him being an Orlando Bloom clone in Pirates 4, but in Catching Fire he steals the show in a movie that has the acting likes of Donald Sutherland and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

This guy has the perfect look for Barry Allen and the his performance in this film shows the right amount of self assuredness and charisma that Flash beckons for. Seriously this guy needs to be on WB's radar now. GET HIM BEFORE MARVEL sign him to a contract playing 'Shield Agent Number 3' or something.

ha. i knew as soon as that film came out he'd be the new darling. i kinda peg him as hal before though. barry allen could work. he's one of those young guys i could see turn into a huge star in a couple of years. supposedly he auditioned for thor.

I disliked him in Pirates 4. But watch Catching Fire. He will win you over.

Ironically Jena Malone also makes a good case for Harley Quinn in the film.

Have you read any Sandman stories? As is, they could be adapted into a movie. I can't really say the same thing about any GL, Flash or WW stories

What about Francis Lawrence as a possible director for the Flash film? Seem like he is definitely improving as a director after Hunger Games 2 and he has worked with WB's before in Constantine and I Am Legend.

Funny, I was thinking about it today. He is a very visual director but grounded visual, he will get obscure shots and almost music video quality angles. I really like him and i think he should do flash.

i really do hope that blomkamp does one of these films, but he's been apprehensive in the past when asked about doing a dc or a marvel property, namely because of studio interference.

Yes they have only made one film in the DCCU…Man of Steel…The Dark Knight Trilogy doesn't count….Green Lantern doesn't count.
I would rather WB move incredibly slow than rush out films. Do you think Green Lantern fans which WB took some time?
Since you don't know Diane Nelson you can't honestly comment on what she does or does not know?
and as others have said Sandman has great potential.
