A Justice League movie would obviously be a sequel to Batman vs Superman. Why would they announce a sequel to BvS when it hasn't even begun filming or finished casting (or at least announced the casting) yet?

Yes WB wants to do a Justice League movie…I'm not denying that. What I am saying is that reports are also coming in that the JL movies aren't the only ones they are planning.

Since if WW does appear in this movie (which is not even close to being confirmed yet) it will likely be a cameo or a small role, I would argue that a full-blown Trinity movie would be the next logical step. At the same time, you could work on WW, Flash, and Aquaman solo films AND do the lower budget movies to (that's actually a good idea on WB's part).

Hmm, not bad but i don't think these older guys are energetic enough to helm a comic book movie. We do not want another Michael Campbell thing. Getting a good director isn't enough, you need a fanboy good director. Rian Johnson is my pick for the Flash movie.

He's energetic enough to make a car race movie

I still want Doug Liman for this. Just re-watch Jumper for reference. Most of those effects are now seen on Tomorrow People. That movie was 5 years ago.

The frenetic chase between Christiansen and Bell made me think of super speed.

What other director than Liman could to Flash?
Baz is no 1 for me. I also suggested Howard Before. I can say a third name now: Zemeckis!
Unfortunately, he passed on Superman because the character has been done so many times before. Zemeckis did think making Christmas Carol was a better and more fresh idea.

I have absolutely given up on fan casting. DC/WB have time and again surprised me constantly with their casting choices. Gal Gadot??!!?? I wouldn't mind if Bell for the role if his name came up. Especially after that movie "Eagle of the Ninth"? was it with Channing Tatum. But, and this is a big BUT, he's in "Nymphomaniac" so I don't know if anyone will offer him a role for any CBM soon.

Anyone see that trailer for Edge of Tomorrow? Boy, now I see how Emily Blunt could've been a good choice for Wonder Woman! Not that she was my first choice but wow, sword wielding bad ass.

Add this to the list of why I think Doug Liman can pul off a Flash movie, or any CBM for that matter!

I can't see Baz Luhrmann doing a CBM, I don't know if he has it in him to do action set pieces that a CBM requires. Also I'm not a fan of his visual style, too glossy (could be choice of DP).

I like that list, except that I'd switch WW and Flash around. Something about Flash getting his own movie BEFORE WW just rubs me the wrong way.
