Yeah I am surprised he hasnt gotten a brand new one instead of little tinkering here and there. Give him a new fabric.

I'd like to see them completely redesign the belt at least, its been my biggest issue with the costume from the beginning, something similar to the way they handled Zoom's belt would be cool. Better distribution of the materials would be cool too, again akin to Zoom's costume.

Yeah I would like a gold "lightning" "belt" that is basically just trip around the botton of the jacket - not quite meeting in the middle. Pretty similar to Zoom's.

I'l never understand that huge buckle with little lightning bolts. It's just a weird choice.

I think it's overdue, something a bit more fitted, not as much leather tracksuit. Gold Boots please. And for the love of God, get a decent lightning bolt belt for the costumes.

Has any new costume still got to match the bits that we've seen of it in the photo used by the Central City Citizen in 2024?

I doubt they would be that beholden to continuity. It's just a pretty bad photoshop anyway.

If we ever actually see the 2024 version of Barry's suit, they'll probably re-create the newspaper pic with a photo of the new suit anyway.

Cool! Although, the current cowl is pretty great, it's the best part of the costume and simply casting it a little brighter would be fine for me.

The weird thing is, why do a lifecast? Surely they have one already and it's not like his face has changed.

I'd love a new suit, too. I don't dislike the current suit--just would love improvements.

There's no confirmation that that instagram video up there^ is him getting a new suit! I mean, it's a good guess..

You say that, but there's a chance the cowl might be cutting into his neck or something like that. You don't want the main star of your hit show hating the suit he has to wear.

It's obviously for a new cowl or for some kind of bust for an effect.

Disappointing... it looks like a tweaked version of the regular costume. It doesn't look like a new costume.

Obviously its the original with tweeks, but imo those tweeks (the lightning bolt belt and the forearms bolts) make a world of difference.

Definitely some good tweeks. They got rid of the material that looked like denim, and added the lightning bolts. I just wish they would have went one step further with the whole design, and used the same material they used for Hoechlin's Superman.

I will just never be a fan of the whole jacket/pants look they have for most of their CW heroes.

I think it works for some characters like Green Arrow. But for the flash, I think the way to go is more streamlined. And in this thinking, I would say that the jacket does not work that well. Especially, like some people said : around the belt.
I wish they'd go closer to the body but anyway.

I enjoy this futuristic look a lot ! ! That would be an improvement !The suit seems more "simple" more refined. 'm going to enjoy watching it !
Without being a huge fan of the usual suit, yeah, for me, it's still far better than the movie suit.

Thanks for that - comparing all the different aspects I can only say that on the whole its a massive improvement. Not only the belt and the forearm bolts (which take it up another level) but some of the texturing and the higher collar.

I disagree, I think it's a downgrade. It looks... off. Cheaper, maybe? With the added gold components and the higher collar. Don't think that was necessary at all. All they really needed to do was brighten the red a tad bit, change the belt design, maybe change up the materials/texture and thicken the gold lining on the existing suit.

They just need to do away with leather costumes on superheroes altogether.

Nice. Pretty close to what I would have hoped to see in a suit that was made in largely the same way as the previous one (a complete revamp would have been great too, but I wasn't expecting it).

It'll definitely look better in a non-crappy photo too.

The belt is definitely better, but it could have been better still. More like the one on Zoom's Jacket (so not really a belt at all, just lightning trim.

But yeah, I'll take this. Just comparing, the torso looks way better. All those lines combine to look sleek and v-shaped. The old one suddenly looks clunky in comparison.

And I really hope it's redder. It SEEMS to be, but it's hard to say. The Red of Jessie's suit is perfect and what Flash's should be, IMO.
